Can anyone help please!!!!!! I recently bought my 300 from another member and have noticed a few strange things, 1 the oil pressure is eratic, its usually fine when cold hitting just over 40 but when the car warms up it sometimes drops to 0, ive taken the oil cap of when its warm and there is plenty of oil in there. I am presuming faulty oil sender. Another is the boost, i was told its running a around 5 psi, however after reading more on this forum it sounds like its in safety mode, the strange thing is though on the stock boost gauge it still reads at +7 on boost but the after market gauge will not go higher the 0.5 strange??? also when the ignition is switched on the after market boost gauge drops into minus figures until on boost is this normal??? and lastly in 3rd and 4th gear there is alot of vibration the car is lowered and fitted with koni's alround does anyone else get this as ive read that the prop bearings are prone to go, is this one of the tell tale signs. sorry if i have asked stupid questions but i dont have any local experts in aylesbury to take the car to and i dont want to take it on a long journey if there is something very wrong :bow: Cheers Craig ps ( Helping craig= lots of beer at next meet lol) :bow:

there nice motors if you can find a well looked after one which is rare, however they are easy to fix and pretty cheap and a great car as a toy, but it dosent have the same road presence as a 300

not me but just wondering how many zeds there are in the bucks (ish) area a mini meet might have to be on the cards :bow:

Yeah i have only let my mate chris drive my zed once and the day after he wrote off another mate BMW318 so needless to say he aint ever getting in me car again lol!!!

Oi :mad: i used to own mk3 supras, and they aint that bad granted there no 300zx but they are still the best value for money if your looking for something fast good looking and semi reliable. :bow:

Thought id say a proper hello now im a paid member, Ive been running MK3 Supra's for the last few years and just got fed up with them so thought it was time for a new toy, I didnt realise the 300 was such a different animal from the supra. Ive been in this situation before he does not have a legal leg to stand on he bought a second hand car from a private owner, did you write out a reciept saying sold as seen???? if so then you have nothing to worry about if not then its worth getting a solicitor to send him a reply politley telling him to go take a running jump, also have you sent the log book off as yet??

Wade when are you about i will pop over and help if i can, my 300 has the same probs with oil pressure it just sits over 0 so im having some aftermarket gauges done boost and oil pressure as ive been running the car for a week and if the gauge was corect my engine would be in bits lol. give me a call 07725077426

Im new to the 300ZX and have jyst bought a 93TT and so far all i can say is WOW. Ive had mk3 supra's for the last 3 years and they are a nightmare for things failing, from what i can tell the 300ZX is very well biult in comparison. Go for it buy one you wont be disapointed!!!

I sell these at work if you are using an xda or the like and want to kill 2 birds with 1 stone then go to http://www.driveblue.com and look at the ck3300 its a bluetooth carkit for your phone with gps and will work with a pda or xda with the nav software on, these are very very good.

think i will have to find one to test drive and see how much of a smile it put on me face and that will prob do it and make my mind up lol

thats the prob there nice but ive just got to the point where the WOW factor has worn off, i love the mk3 very knight rider (loved it as a kid lol) but its just time for something more.

Hi all i am currently debating wether to sell my MK3 Supra, Ive been a member of the supra owners club for over a year and had a great time i currently have a 1990 Jap Spec 2.0 Twin Turbo Targa (Very Rare) with a few good mods, however im getting a bit bored with them and thought about moving onto to a 300ZX, Before i do my usual which is charge off and buy something i know jack about i thought i would ask on here for some advice. My User name speaks for itself as thats what im looking for, can anyone give me any points on what to look out for when buying one, Im looking for one i can just get in and drive( modded would be nice ) but im open to any in good condition.
