  6. plus he says its a 10 year old car on a 1990 ok i think he needs to go back to school and learn to count. id buy one on here mate you know the history then and you know its been looked after.
  7. Not heard of them myself but i suppose it depends how much they cost, as it may be worth looking at blitz, baileys,or HKS if the price is right.
  8. No on an auto it will only release and give you ssssttttt noise when you take you foot off the gas. but it wont do anything when the car changes gear.

Not sure but isnt vibration usually caused by the prop shaft, could it be this??? also get a 4 point camber check done.
  11. Got to buy a new Heater Matrix by the looks of it, so just went into my local motor factors and was quoted £52 for a primera matrix which as far as we could see is the same one used in nearly all versions of this car, my question is, is there a better or uprated heater matrix available coz if i have to pull the dash out then i only want to have to do it once!! What would you buy??? Cheers Craig
  12. Then yes mate yours is heater matrix by the sounds of it, as for me im not sure as mine heater works nice no steam and and all i get is windows full of condensation in the morning as theres water in the car so im not sure if mine is heater matrix or not.????
  13. does the heater work and do you get any steam coming into the car as it may not be the heater matrix, check if you are losing water from the rad? and make sure that the panel at the bottom of the winscreen is ok as i used to have a golf like this many years ago where when ever it rained water got into the car due to the panel being damaged dont know if its the same on the z though but i can pray coz if its the heater matrix its not going to be fun. :headvswal
  14. Mines doing this at the mo i have a wet pass side foot well however im missing part of the panel at the bottom of the windscreen so when it rains i think the water might be dripping down and coming through the bulkhead???? Are you losing and water from the rad??
  15. CHALK ONE UP FOR THE OLD DUDE An older, white haired man walked into a jewelry store one Friday evening with a beautiful young gal at his side. He told the jeweler he was looking for a special ring for his girlfriend. The jeweler looked through his stock and brought out a £5,000 ring and showed it to him. The old man said, "I don't think you understand, I want something very special." At that statement, the jeweler went to his special stock and brought another ring over. "Here's a stunning ring at only £40,000," the jeweler said. The young lady's eyes sparkled and her whole body trembled with excitement. The old man seeing this said, "We'll take it." The jeweler asked how payment would be made and the old man stated by check. "I know you need to make sure the check is good, so I'll write it now and you can call the bank on Monday to verify the funds and I'll pick the ring up Monday afternoon," he said. Monday morning, a very teed-off jeweler phoned the old man. "There's no money in that account." "I know", said the old man, "but can you imagine the weekend I had?"
  16. Told ya Norton was a pile of shite!!!!
  17. Thats more then likely Norton i had a laptop 2 weeks ago with the same probs i could literally make a cuppa while it tried to load a program as soon as i uninstalled norton and then ran a program called ad aware SE which is free do a google search it cleaned the pc up lovely and is still running nice and fast now. Craig

  19. Cheers for that you couldnt tell me where abouts that is could you as i no next to nothing about these cars at the mo. cheers craig
  20. Thanks for all the help guys
  21. Cleaning me car out today i noticed that the passenger foot well was very wet under the carpet, im hoping its not a heater matrix prob? because the heater works lovely its not blowing steam in to the car and the rad is not losing water. I have noticed however that the panel at the back of the engine bay at the bottom of the windscreen is missing the section that covers the battery. Could it just be when its been through a carwash or rained heavy that water in running down the screen into the engine bay and getting in through the bulkhead???? again any help would be great and im going to owe a lot of people :duffer: at jae lol cheers Craig
  22. Nice one thanks for that!!!!
