Misleading E Bay add
It says no aftermarket parts but like Baz said, not standard wheels & the rear lights wouldn't be standard either. & they can't spell rare, 'rear'. Sounds Australian.

What to do in Mablethorpe
We didn't realise you could park close to it until we got there. But like you said, nice shops along the way & tea rooms.

What to do in Mablethorpe
Went to Lincoln last year when my wife did a skydive. Really nice place. The castle is well worth a visit. Gota climb a big hill to get there though.

Chrome paint?
Nice one mate! I'll go down and see them.

Chrome paint?
I know where you mean. Do they refurb or just respray? There's a few chips on one of the wheels.

Chrome paint?
I was thinking about that Bri. Where did you get yours done and I'll get a quote off him. I'm debating whether to get the rims done aswel. They've come up well with the polish but seeing how I've gotta pay out for the bolts I might as well get them done properly so they last longer.

Chrome paint?
Yeh I was thinking I might aswel give it a go. The rims are chrome so they will make the caps look even worse if its a bad job.

Chrome paint?
Has anyone ever used this before. Refurbing some wheels and want to spray the centre caps chrome but don't want it to look cheap so might get it done professionally instead. Read some reviews about halfords chrome paint and they say it scratches really easily. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chrome-Spray-Paint-high-quality-made-in-UK-not-silver-/180687170173?pt=UK_Crafts_DrawingSupplies_EH&hash=item2a11cb6a7d

Just found the link, decent price.

Carbon Fibre Scuttle Panels
Looking good Gary! I like the black carbon fibre look, especially against the red car. Have they been dipped to get the carbon fibre effect or are they the real thing?

new alloys
I'll do that, gonna do this properly so I don't have to do it again. The new nuts & bolts cost £130 so don't want to have to replace them again.

new alloys
Thanks mate, just having a look for some now.

new alloys
Thanks mate that's a great help. I'll get some new chrome ones just incase. When I'm putting them back on shall I just do them up hand tight with a socket spanner or do they need to be a certain torque?
-
new alloys
Just read that you shouldn't reuse the old bolts once they've been removed. Anyone know if this is right?
-
new alloys
I didn't think of that. Might make the effort to polish the old ones and put them back on.

new alloys
Why's that mate? Not strong enough?
-
new alloys
Thanks mate, got loads of stuff I still need to get round to doing. Need some nice weather aswel so I can start spraying and finish them off.
-
new alloys
Might buy all new stainless steel bolts as it would take me ages to polish up every single one, will stand out loads against the black wheel too.

new alloys
Got these a few months ago & finally got round to working on them. As you can see on the before and after pics they've polished up pretty nice. Took a while to split them though as some of the bolts were seized. Used a whole can of wd40 to soak them in but had to grind about 10 of them off. Gona polish the lips up a bit more and spray the middle black. Think they will look good in the end.

What did you do to your zed today?

There's a few factory RHD ones out there but they're normally much more expensive as they're very rare.

I agree. I'm a big fan of the delorean, will have one some day, they look good as they are. There's a place in Houston that makes them, brand new ones. I've been to the factory in LA, they make back to the future replicas. Also had one as my wedding car.
