What did you do to your zed today?
Finally had a couple of hours to work on the new zed today. Fitted the rear wheels I've borrowed off Ian, thanks mate, new seats fitted & new bumper trial fitted. Gonna get rid of the round fog lights & the side vents.

New rare rear light covers
I quite like the spoiler. Such a shame the previous owner let it get in that state.

There's no other way you could've known then. I hope you get it sorted.

a very sad day
It Normally says on the front, where it says about it being registered overseas (if it is an import). It should say 'substantially repaired'. But not sure if this is only when the insurance pays to fix it, I had it on my other car.

Don't think it comes up on the insurance. The only time they check is when you claim cus they wana find something so they don't have to pay out. Should've said on the log book though.

Interior retrim
I'm still in 2 minds about the engine, I think I'm gonna wait for one where I know the history of it. They don't know anything about the car down there so don't wana waste time & money removing & refitting it if its no good. Plus money is a bit tight at the moment with saving for the baby arriving.

Interior retrim
If its cut & sown on the edges so you don't have to fold the corners then I think it's a good price. I spent £50 on a roll of alcantara & cut it myself for my other zed & think I did a decent job so might just do that again.

Interior retrim
Some vulture beat me to it  I'll never find that again. I'm thinking about just keeping the interior black with a touch of red, this is for my white zed.

Interior retrim
I'm going to retrim the interior of my zed over Christmas. Last time I bought a roll of alcantara but have seen this on eBay from America. Has anyone ever used this before & was it any good? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281199674356?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
