  2. thanks guys you just made it easier to make this decision, guess she's gonna be sold
  3. Well did a bit of work to the old girl this weekend, changed the inlet manifold gasket, rocker cover gasket and also changed a few of the rubber hoses as well. But got a boom shell from work friday saying i'll be posted to canada come end of june:sad:. The first thing that came to mind before the family was "oh no my Z". might be away for maybe three year and I know what you guys gonna say put it in storage. as much as it hurts me to think about it but might be selling the Z. Still looking at a plan B but if it dosen't go as planned then I might have to sell her.
  4. All done today and she runs perfect:thumbup:

  12. well had a look again, nothing i can do at the minute need a plenum gasket plus everythings so fragile need to change loads of rubber pipes round the back of the inlet manifold, found a 2 pin connector like the cam shaft sensors just hanging on the back of the engine been looking for ages cant seem to find were its broken. can anyone sort of direct me to someone with the few bits i need and this 2 pin connector as well any idea where on the back of the engine it should have been connected because the wire snaped. Talk about timing i'm moving houses in 2 months want to sort it out as soon as possible. thanks guys
  13. Oh yeah forgot to mention. I slightly damaged one of the hoses on the inlet manifold its on the rear of the manifold driver's side its the one both ends are different sizes. Bloody thing was as hard as a rock.
  14. It didn't look damaged thought I'd get away with it
