I found a stick of chewing gum under the seat, and i still have want i think is a japanese tax disc or similar in the rear side window, behind the tints.

Hi all Few weeks time will have all the suspension upgrades done, and the zed will need an MOT(its first one) and full wheel alignment, does anyone know of a good garage in Kent that does both. Also is there anything particular with a zed a garage should know about to do an MOT. Cheers Lee

Took a little drive to Jasons earlier today to see the beast, well what can I say, absolutley stunning car, none of the pictures do it justice it looks ten times better in the flesh. Although not a colour I'd chose its a superb job, the crome parts especially the wheels certainly go very well with the blue. The car will turn lots of heads, very well done Jason. Lee

Starting on mine tomorrow all suspension being removed for full adjustable suspension and brakes being uprated at the same time, all great fun

Went over in August 1992 for 3 weeks, was bearly long enough to see all the usual, all disney (had a 5 day pass), bush gardens, universal studios, wet and wild water park, gatorland, the keys and the everglades and kennedy space center. August isnt the best time to go, it is the most popular so has the most queues for the rides in the park, some your queuing up for an hour or so, its very hot IIRC the hottest we had was 105F in the shade. Went again in Feb 2001, although didnt go to all the same parks etc only went to disney once and universal studios, since they had a complete new park there this time, it was still very hot but the queues in the park where at most 5 minutes. Dont think i would ever go to florida again if I did it would be around feb time. Lee

I looked into it a little before i bought my house, IIRC the sort of plot i was looking at for a reasonable 4 bed or bigger 3 bed house was bout £18k, I got a rough price from a bricky mate on doing the walls and main parts of the roof and i think it was somewhere around £40-£50K, everything else I would have been doing myself so that would have cut costs down, especialy on the electrical, being and electrician. I didnt go into much further for the simple fact that I wouldnt have had the time to do it. I think it would be cheaper building your own house, if you did a lot of the stuff yourself, but there is the time factor, will you have enough spare time? where are you going to be living whilst you do it? The major plus side is that you can have a house how you want it, to a certain degree, they may be certain design specs depending on where a plot of land is that you want to buy. Its the first winter having a zed, dont really like the idea of driving it if it becomes nice and wet and icy, so have decided to spend the next few months doing some mods. So this year im replacing the complete suspension set up and upgrading the brakes, next year who knows, maybe more power :)

I think it time to start modifying the Zed now the wetter months are starting, for now I’m doing mainly the suspension and brakes. Below is a list of parts that I am thinking of getting, If I could have your opinions on the parts or any suggestions of alternative manufacturers, Or of any items that it would be worth upgrading at the same time it would be most appreciated. 1st: Suspension: HKS Hyper damper II Coilovers Front: SPL or Powertrix Adjustable tension rods and Upper arms SPL pro adjustable lower arm SPL pro tie rod ends Energy suspension Steering rack bushings Rear SPL or Powertrix Adjustable upper arms SPL pro adjustable lower arms SPL pro traction rods SPL pro Toe arms (with brace etc for eliminating HICAS) SPL pro aluminium subframe bushings SPL pro aluminium differential bushings SPL front and rear stabiliser links + Stillen sway bars I want to get front and rear Strut braces, any suggestions?. 2nd: Brakes Want to upgrade my brakes but not sure what to get I haven’t got any high power mods so uprated discs and pads should do, any suggestions? Im also thinking of getting a short shift gear stick, wheres the best place to get this from and is there anything else that id be wise to change at the same time? Thinking of getting a new gear knob Ive seen the auto aftermarket one by Razo IIRC that look sort of like a computer joystick are there any manual gear knobs like this type? Thanks Lee
