Graham. I have found the stop pins BUT! sorry mate they are broken. I was furious when i found them The base of the pins are still intact but would need some kind of pin super glued to them (see pic) if you want to have a go I will send them to you mate. Sorry.

If my memory serves me well....... In the 70's it was quite fashionable to have a black bonnet on your Capri? PMSL. the idea originally came from that car. The long bonnet was a pain in the ar5e because the sun would reflect off it and blind the driver. So the answer was to have the bonnet painted MATT Black to eliminate this problem. People then thought it was COOL and followed suit? I have a bonnet and a tailgate that are black and it will save me going to the trouble of getting the whole lot sprayed the same (Lazy git) just the top to paint. But I have grown to like Stella's car quite a lot over the past few months. Thats my excuse anyway.

I am looking for opinions here. I have as you may already know a red zed. I have just bought a vented Black bonnet and tailgate from Blackmagic and am thinking that it might look nice with the top of the car all black and the bottom red? Stella's car is nice with the black and white and I fancy the Black & Red would look just as nice. What do you think. Black and Red or keep it all Red? I dont want an all Black car though. Vini

I was going to suggest one of those composit companies but if you are paid by the company as PAYE then it wouldn't work. you will only pay thehigher tax on the money over the bracket (around 34K) ??? I think. so if you earned 36K then its normal rate on 34K and the higher on the remaining 2K. I know this sounds obvious but I dont know how much you know? I aint sure of the exact figures but I am close with my calculations? What is true is you dont pay 40% on the whole lot. HTH Vini

Gotta say I agree BUT! aint that the same with anything on a perfomance car? Manuals do seem to be regarded as the stronger of the two.

I love the Auto box in mine. But I think you can forget anything like proper drifting if thats your thing as the manual has more control of the power delivery.

Halfords wanted £94.00 when I needed mine. I got a heavy duty from my local garage for £55.00 and its been fine.

The paperwork alone is worth that. :rofl: If it sells mine is up for sale next week.
