  1. No thats cool Steve. I dont mind doing them as I really like the challenge. I must say that it turned out really nice in the end. Third attempt. Hes a fussy fooker you know. :D Wayne I will do you something if you PM meyour requirements mate. Let me know what sort of theme you would like. I recently did 300zx Girls sig too and she was well pleased. I am gald you like it Steve. ATB. :D
  2. I have just picked it up from the shop. He told me that he has had the plugs out one of which was pretty black. He cleaned it all and put new fuel straight into the carbs. (it isnt injected) its the K6 2006 '56 regd model Bandit with ABS and is deffo carb'd. It runs rough on low revs and tick over now but if you open it up then it flys. Sounds like idle jets to me? But as I said he has no licence to strip it down as he wont get paid by Suzuki? I will look into it but he reckons he has had problems of late with Suzuki doing warranty work and is thinking of dropping them. I will ring them Monday meanwhile have a look at the links you have given me. Thanks for your input lads. No It didnt get wet whilst riding. I just went outside to go out on the bike and it started playing up from the second it was started. Before it was fine. Its always covered and well alarmed and there is no evidence of any tampering. I filled the tank a while back so the petrol has been ok for half a tank so how could it have been that? Vini
  3. I was reading that thinking oh shite I always thought yampiedog was a geezer. Phew! Gay Boy   Keep her going but it might end up in tears.
  4. Would you fookin believe it? My 10 month old Suzuki GS650 with only 2400 miles on the clock started to missfire after starting it up the other day. I started it up and it wont run off choke. I took it round the block for a 20 minute run to see if it would clear. Nope! So I phoned Suzuki UK and told them they said take it to your local main dealership. I did. He has looked at it and says that he can not find any problems with it on initial investigation and he suspects the carbs are either blocked or in some way not functioning properly. So I said OK take them apart and find out. Not unless you pay me I cant. ???? This is the score: He cant strip anything down on the bike unless I pay. Suzuki will not pay for investagative work only to fix the problem? So this means that I have to pay him for ? hours of work and then when he finds the problem they will sort it out. Basically pay for the parts. What a crock of shite.
  5. That would be the easy option Jaf' but unfortunately for me I have taken the Billing weekend off and cant change it now
  6. Something like this Bri'. They are excellent. Not remote though but good all the same. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290113835399&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=019
  7. "Give Way" and "Thank You" are number one and two on the swear words list in bedford.. :xxx: I fooking hate it. I noticed up north (has I have done quite a bit up there) that drivers are not in as much hurry as down here. That has a lot to do with it. AND! yes you are right you always get a wave up there. Shame you cant drive as good though......
  8. happy birthday mate. :hyper:
  9. bump for the workers......... :D
  10. May I intrude please? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=96983 Have a look and say what you think peeps. Vini
  11. Dont Danny sell on Ebay? I thought he did the odd item on there?
  12. PMSL. How topical is this......? The RED ARROWS just flew over my house. :D Now those boys know what they are doing. I simply love the Red Arrows and a few years ago I went all over the place to watch them.
  13. Righto then. Meet at Si's place then off to the airport to soak up the fumes and noise. I used to go to Heathrow quite a lot and if you were lucky you could get behind the planes quite close as they took off. that was awsome. It might sound dead boring (and probably is) but its something to experiance if you havent already done so. :D Oh and if you take a notebook and pen you can even take down the numbers on them....... :nono: :slap: :D
  14. There is no restriction on cars Bhav. turn up in what you want mate. All are welcome.
  15. They are getting a bit JAMMIE aint they.
  16. Thank you. You pair of geographical genius'. :D Right im off see you when I get back.
  17. OK I hope this isnt the wrong section to post this but I didnt want to keep it to one area. I also hope any REO dosent mind me doing this..... I have had a chat with Spongey and we thought we could possibly arrange a day outing for anyone interested in or around hearts beds or bucks. Just Sunday really as an alternative for those that like me have booked the weekend off for Billing. (although I have an hospital appointment on saturday). I must say at this point "Thanks to Steve" for the polite and concise notice of the cancellation of Billing. Its such a shame as it was looking like it was going to be great. Anyway if anyone has any local ideas for a days meet on Sunday 15th July then please post them up here. Obviously it would be nice to gauge some interest on this idea and see if it would be worth organising? I thought that Grafham waters would make a fairly decent place. It has two very large car parks both hosting a cafeteria and both have nice nature walks and splendid views of the waters. It might prove a bit boring but its open space so you can have a fag and a coffee with some grub and it will give us time to chat and take a closer look at each others cars. rather than just turn up have a pint and fook off. :D Please feel free to suggest something. Vini  EDIT: Heres a link: http://www.waterscape.com/Grafham_Water?ppcgoogle&gclid=CKP_r_nMkI0CFQndlAodEWvfjQ
