Well its been a funny old spell of weather lately. But what with it being wet and then dry and hot etc. etc...........Theres me sitting in my (workshop) Shed. and i could hear the crackle of a fire. My mate next door is always burning something. Anyway my wife calls me and casually says Vince the shed is on fire. I thought she meant the one I was in? I rushed out and it was the other shed. Fookin hell it was blazing. It couldnt have been burning for more than a minute as thats when I heard the crackles. We was running around like headless chickens then I got the hose and fought it like a true hero. Lucky another minute or so and it would have been a total disaster. It seems like a combination of the heat and a rotten cardboard box.

Squirt some WD40 down the runners this sometimes helps as a temporary fix?

Yes I like it. Not the best rear end but a nice all round motor. She's a lucky lass no doubt.

When I bought my bonnet from blackmagic I got it in my Vectra estate with loads of spare room Chris so I should imagine it will fit into an Astra as they aint that different.

What he said........ A while back I had a TT Volvo S80 and the MAF went on it. First signs were it would miss under load and the tick over was rough. after a few days it wouldnt run above about 3000 revs then after a week the fooker wouldnt start when warm. Now I know it was a Volvo and a later car than the 300zx but it was a TT and after I got it fixed it ran like a dream. I got shot just after that anyway because it cost me £450 to get it done at a main dealers. Not had anything like that on the 300 though.

well I went to work in the black counrty today Cradley Heath. It was pissing down the whole time we was on track and as soon as we got back to our vans it stopped..........For a while anyway. But as for bad luck. Nah! :D
