Try ringing microsoft on their helpline number for the UK. The re-install disc that should have come with the laptop should have had the number pre installed? I just bought a new Toshiba with Vista and when I used the disc it didnt even ask for the number. Sorry I dont spose that was much help but its all I have mate. :)

I have one of these in the arm rest space on my BMW. The sound is good but it aint banging. There are other more powerful items about but with a decent head unit and component speakers it fills the car with plenty of bass. HTH vini

Although a nice standard 300zx is a great car I tend to think they look a bit dated now and a nice set of rims with a good body kit is better. ;)

I am having some issues with the speed and reliability of my connection and wondered if any of you internet wise members know what router I should get? Please. ;) I am using a netgear router at the mo but wonder if being over 2 years old I could improve things by getting a newer more up ti date item? I am not sure what the spec is on it but surely after 2 years its a bit old. It wasnt the best when I got it. Thanks vini ;)

Thanks bud. I am not getting 6x9's as the standard fittment is the 13cm round speaker. front and back. The sub I have is an active alpine that fits right neat and tidy into the hole where the rear armrest is. Cheers again Jaff. nice one. :cool:

I have been hunting through the many pages of E Bay and other ICE suppliers for a decent set up in my Beemer. The head unit I have eventually gone for is the Pioneer DEH-P65BT . 50w X 4 and and direct sub drive. It does everything I want including bluetooth for hands free and streaming. Plus you can change the colour to suit the interior lighting . My question is this: My obvious choice of speakers and sub (active) is Pioneer because logically they should work well together? Has anyone got any doubts about pioneer speakers and subs? I have seen so many different makes its like a nightmare trying to keep up. What would be your choice? spending on speakers and sub (active) no more than £250 for 4 x speakers and the sub. thanks vini

Both decent cars. the 300zx is more versatile and nicer looking, but i'm bias.

Every time I see one of those it gives me a chill down my spine. Lovely cars although not sure if I would buy one above others. :D

I have often wondered about this and if I came up trumps and won the lottery millions I would have a warehouse full of great cars. But at the end of the day the car to have would be a Veyron. No doubt. On a more realistic scale the new Nissan GTR would be a great item to have parked on my drive. :D

A bloke got into a taxi cab. Off they set towards he's desired destination. During the trip the cab driver, on the approach to a set of red traffic lights didnt slow. The passenger got more and more anxious as they approached the red lights. Zoom.....Straight through the lights without a care in the world. Fook me said the passenger that scared me shiteless. Oh dont worry me and my brother never stop at a red light the driver said smiling. and they carried on doing this throughout the journey until all of a sudden the cab screeched to a halt at a green light. Fookin hell mate whats going on said the passenger? You just jumped every red light scaring the life out of me and now you stop at a green light he said. Why dont you just bloody well go? What. said the driver. And risk hitting my brother? :D Ok Ok sorry, but it was topical. ;)

My line up isnt as impresive as it used to be (to others) but to me its far more practicle and practicallity is the new Vini. :D
