Audi have always been a nice looking car well over the last 10 years but they have really come a long way and are on a par with merc's and beemers if not better now. My mate in work has got a 2001 A8 V8 4.something and wants 17K for it. Its been chipped and he reckons it will wipe the floor with my 300ZX. He's yet to prove it tho'? You can more or less guarantee that any motorway roadworks have got spec's on them nowadays. I have seen loads of people zooming through thinking the camera signs are just a threat, not realizing that the specs are there looming in the darkness over the hard shoulder reading your number in and checking it out. :headvswal The road between Manchester and Barnsley the 6...something?? has got little cameras and they are not YELLOW?? they are very consealed. :cool: The worse threat IMO are still those horrible mobile b'strds :smash:

Your best bet mate is to start your own thread introducing yourself. Welcome to our site. We are a good friendly bunch but as you can see we dont suffer fools easily. Quite rightly too. Sorry mate but if there are specs on the M6 toll road they aint in use. I travel the M6/M6 toll both ways every single day except friday and have been doing so for the past 6 months and as yet I havent seen any evidence of cameras on there. I was also a passenger in a van that got caught doing 98 MPH on the toll road just short of the eastbound plaza by a police radar. Aswell as my Tom Tom has the latest cameraupdates and it dosent show any cameras on the M6 Toll.

I want a 350Z. But in the process I wont part with my 300ZX. I want one because I think they are a lovely looking car. The performance wasn't an issue with me when I decided just the looks and the name. OK many will disagree with me but HEY! personal choice is exactly that and if I wanted a skoda "felacio" (I would be a sucker) but it would still be my choice. As for arguing on a 300zx site that the 350z is a better then thats tantamount to taking the pi55. :nono: BTW. I think most of you are just showing of with technical knowhow and nothing is getting solved. In todays big money world A supercar is a car that no one from the real world can afford. So heres my own opinion of what makes a car a supercar: 1/. It has to be damn fast 0-60 2/. It has to be damn powerful 400 BHP +. 3/. It has to be damn expensive £100K +. So in its factory guise the 300ZX is not a supercar. This is not my preference. Its just what I think the general public would imagine a "supercar" is?

I had a few people offer me replacements for mine when a little twat kid broke mine this week and very grateful I am too. Popularity can only be gauged by the amount of colours that are available at any given time. A red superstar is obviously not as super as a blue one but anyone who is gold can be quite justly called more popular than anyone who is silver. Anyone that carries the status of superstar should not be seen in anything less than a supercar. Otherwise that status may be in jeapody. I used to be a superstar but people forgot me and I ended up becoming a member of this place. where i must admit I have settled in rather more so than when I was "super". Therefore I would finish by saying how much easier it is to chat 5hit than it is to become a superstar. :tongue: :duffer:

I think that unlike supercars a superstar is determined by popularity. Once they seem to pass the sell by date and no one has any interest in them they fade into darkness.
