Does anyone know: If you have a secondhand item shipped from outside the UK ie: USA will the item still incure import tax? I seem to remember a bloke a few years back would ship american cars into this country in containers half stripped down as secondhand parts to avoid import taxes. Then he would put them back together and sell them.

I have been thinking about something totally hypothetical but maybe interesting? If there was no such car as the 300ZX what car do you think you would own? Obviously it would have to have the same kind of value. Would you have a sooper soopra? would you have a skyline? etc etc. I would have a skyline.

Sorry to p155 on your fireworks but the Navman is not the best system available by far. My bro-in-law had one for two days and got rid. My workmate had one for a whole week and took it back. Go for the Tomtom system so many to choose from and they all work about as best as you are going to get at the moment. I have the 500 and its excellent hands free phone system built in traffic updates all the cameras with warnings and a fully comprihensive UK map with upgrades to Europe. Mind you each to thier own. :D
