  5. I am and always will be there for a fellow member. I have no problem with a fund to help Bird get hes car fixed and I would hope that this gesture will stand with everyone for any member that is having difficulties such as this. BUT! if the car was bought from a member on this forum and it WAS as you say a pig in the poke then that member should be the first to donate? I am not sure of the circumstances invlolved as i find it difficult to keep up with topics what with working away from home so much and all. IMO any member that knowingly sells shit on the forum should be held accountable for what they did in one way or another? I cant give you any time Bird as I dont have much spare but yes mate if I can help with this by donating a fiver you are more than welcome buddy. Hope it all goes well. Vince
  6. They are good vans Si. Steve bet your car is glad of the rest now. Glad you got a company vehicle at last. I thought my milage was high Muffy? Mind you in between the journeys I do a shift? Gruntpa. Sorry to hear you lost your job mate. I nearly lost mine twice last year. Seems a bit more stable this year now tho? (fingers crossed).
  7. The needles have got to come off to get the white dial onto the face of the clock. some dials were made with a strip cut for that but you have deffo got to take them off to fit indiglo dials? If thats what you are putting on?

  12. I thought the law allowed an imported car to wear a number plate with the legal sized motorcycle letters? Which are smaller than a cars. http://www.dvla.gov.uk/vehicles/regmarks/reg_marks_current_requirements.htm#import Theres a bit of a "get out" there somewhere?
  13. You can have my double din if you want to pay postage or come and get it? But it wont play copied discs and the instructions are spoken in japanese?
  14. whilst having a conversation last night with my work mates about millages in our cars and vans I thought it might make a decent topic for the forum? I am definately a motorway junkie as my average monthly millage in my Astravan is very high. Averaging the millage on the clock with the fuel costs I spend approx: £700 per month on diesel alone and cover approx: 4600 miles a month. mostly on the M1 and M6. Are you a motorway junkie? Whats your monthly approx milage?
  15. The chance would be a fine thing Si. I work 6 nights a week and my only time off is Friday night. But I do earn a very fair wage for doing so.
  16. OK mate will do. I will explain in full what I have got so as there is no mis understandings. and if you are not confident enough I will apply the dials to the colcks for you FOC?

  19. I have those 160 MPH dials and I also bought a set of 160 MPH clocks. which I have for sale?????(Clocks without dials) The dials are good quality and for the money? Well mine work fine and look great Bad phone camera shot :( If you want the clocks PM me I also have a stainless bezel for them aswell and yes they do work plug and play :) There is an extra warning light though but the clocks are not interchangable with jap or UK facia's you will have to use the whole unit. BTW. I have re-calibrated my original KPH clocks for 160 MPH which is how they work
  20. http://www.bkracing.co.uk i got mine there for both cars
  21. Well I like it. and would have bought it without any fears the car looks very nice back lights and all...except the purple/pink stearing wheel although the pipeing is nice. It makes ac hange to see something different for a change. I have bought 3 cars from ebay (cheaper end of the market I admit) and two were OK. the other ended up being a breaker. :smash:
  22. ERRRH! That sounds bloody disgusting.........
