one person has a record from about 15 years ago for kidnap (he's a twat and broke up with GF her family wouldn't let him see the kid so he took him :slap: ) and antother person has a record from 30 years ago. i'm just not sure to what exstent you have to say you have a record as i have put above, it says after 10 years you dont have to say you have a record for minor offences and 20 for more serious. so would you say in the instances above

i have been looking on the net and it says When does my criminal record get deleted from police files? Normally 10 years after conviction for minor offences and 20 years after for more serious ones (that could be tried in the Crown Court). so if these apply there is no need for a visa then?
