its tax that kills fuel we get stuffed by the people we vote in i was in america driving a 6.0l V8 Hummer doing 8 mpg when i filled it up i found out it worked out cheaper to run than my zed by some way. it worked out i was paying £1.69p a US gallon i cant get 2 litres for that here

you would have to find why its in safety boost first you can check the ecu for codes with a bit of wire to see if there is a problem (do a search). too reset the ecu you remove the battery feed for 20-30 mins

yes does seem slow to me too mine climbs faster than that get it over to some notts guys they'll sort you out

i have to say mine didn't feel that fast i dont know because been an auto but when you race people you'll see how fast it is or there could be something up hope not. i was getting 6 seconds 0-60 but as you say it doesn't feel it
