After inspection today with a bamboo stick with tissue attached it is apparent that my leak is coming from the 02 sensor bungs. These were air gunned up like the rest of the exhaust so I cannot really understand why they are leaking.

Very true its just I had it up on ramps and checked around the turbo to down pipes and could feel anything and the fact it is loud and is on both sides is worrying. I will do the paper trick tomorrow on the top I must have missed something.

I was not aware of that, I did read somewhere about the japspeed being sold by 2fast2cool. Shame about the fitment but I suppose the fact it is leaking exhaust gases like mad is my main worry!

I will give that a go tomorrow, I did not put this in the turbo to down pipe, Is it going to matter? Also the decat section does not go onto the original hanger mounts? I am starting to get the feeling I have either ordered the wrong part or have made a major balls up somewhere!

Yes it was, and thanks for the advice they came off no problem, but I now have major blowing from around the down pipe area, checked the down pipes and they are ok so I'm at a complete loss

After much pain I finally got the downpipes off then to find that I cannot remove one of the 02 sensors from one of the pipes and have rounded the nut. The car cannot stay where it is today and needs to be driven so would it be ok to drive for now without the 02 sensors connected to my new downpipe?

I am currently in the process of removing my old down pipes and can not for the life of me work out how to get the two top nuts off on the drivers side. Advice greatly needed!

Thanks Jeff, I have been searching for images everywhere, I did manage to find a picture of the non smoked ones which also look good. The 99 spec are expensive and was not keen on paying the price for those. I think the smoked ones could be the way to go, not sure if they would look as good on a silver one though.

Thanks for the info mate, selling it and starting over does seem like the best option, I have been searching and seen that turbonoz does them, just need to sort out my blitz dual sbc which will not run anything apart from standard boost!
