Yea I know it is frustrating but I think some sellers do genuinely believe their car is 'one of the best' when they are really a bit of a dog, I know the nice ones are out there I had mine and it was a really properly nice example. Yea hope it saves someone a jorney going to see that car, the paint was really flat it might come good with a deep polish and to be honest if that was the only issue I may have considered it but the way I saw it id have to make him a silly offer of around 2k to make it viable but he was clearly in love with the thing having owned it for 10 years and I couldnt do it to him!

Yea went at looked at that 1 today paint was tatty, slammed to the floor on an unknown set of springs, rust on the arch, leaky rocker cover gaskets and I think the clutch was on its way out... shame really because the ad looked really promising and it was only round the corner from me...

Hi all not a newbie but its been a while so thought id say hi again from sunny sidcup. Ive sold the rs6 ( already starting to regret that to be honest) and I just cant help but trawl fleabay, pistonheads and the usual places for a good zed, problem is I cant seem to find any!! Maybe im just being too picky but im after a mint tt not overly fussed whether its auto or man but man would be a bonus not really looking to spend more than 5k. Not in any rush but sort of need to get one in the next 8 months due to insurance nonsense. Cheers Nick

+1 on the r8 i was lucky enough to go to epsom audi sport showcase and they litterally tossed me the keys to the new v10 plus and said see you in half hour!!! i loved every second of it, it was a little firm more suited to the track than british roads but the noise.... oh my god the noise..... it was something else!!! it had the s-tronic gearbox and the downchanges in sport mode were savage! I was driving along changing from 3rd to 2nd just for the noise people must have thought i was mad.... or showing off ha! 1 hell of a car and definatly one for the 'if i win the lottery' list

Alright matey, yea i do still pop by from time to time to see what everyones up to and to kick myself for ever selling that car. To be honest im about a week to late for baz's bargain of the century id have considered that 99 spec esspecially for what he payed!!! Just did a text check on my old car and came back all fine so at least she hasnt been written off or scrapped yet, hopefully she'l turn up in a similar condition to how i sold her id be gutted if the fella let her get in a state...... here's hoping!!

New loom from nissan if they still make them would be best and maybe quickest?? Failing that id get an auto sparky involved a few crossed wires could leave you in a right old pickle!!

Some nice motors there im sure ive seen the s13 around ill have to keep an eye out for your zed sounds like a bit of a beast!!

I havnt got my zed anymore so couldnt tell you but ive always gone jbl for aftermarket and always been really impressed with them. Id say its more about proper isolation and sound deadening than spending over the odds for speakers. Get some mid priced speakers, decent amp, good oxygen free cables and go to town with the dymatt!!

I have bose in my audi and had my brother ( owns a recording studio ) in the car on the way home from cornwall and he was really impressed with them

Your about a year too late i live in sidcup and sold mine last year, you might have seen it around though it was a bright red uktt
