im repairing it, as you can see ive stripped the car, Parts ive found that i need is dash, clocks, door card, headlining, sunroof, airbag and wiring loom. Have all the bits apart from wiring loom. also looking for good auto electrician

this was the day before

according to the auto electrician it started in the light control module. I believe it was due to the fact that it has had an LED rear light conversion but that was done in 2008 so im just very unlucky

ive just bought a bmw m3 e46 2 weeks ago, after 3 days all was well and parked it up at work on nightshift (10pm) 4 hours later the security gaurd comes running in saying your cars on fire, put fire out with extinguisher. looked at cctv footage, the light come on and then wipers start and then bursts into flames. Not the best start to owning an m3

as above, half inch extension bar for me. Or depending on the car i split the box 2 inches and use the super glue technique

still not sure if i like the side skirts and rear bumper tho. may replace these also

i bought a uk 300zx tt auto last year. the car had been standing since 2008. As is obvious from the pictures it had been used in the scumball rally. The car only had 1st and 2nd gear as the autobox wouldn't select 3rd or 4th. i immediately replaced the box and the car has sat untouched until last week [/img] [/img] so in the last 7 days i have removed all stickers, machine polished and removed the front bumper and replaced with stock, also a new set of wheels, looking better already. As you can see i still need aa light cluster, steering wheel and something sorting the rear spoiler out. and obv needs the front end painting [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img] [/img]

evening all, Well finally decided to start work on the zed after 12 months of owning. When i purchased it was covered in stickers and had been standing for over 3 years, ive since replaced the gearbox and removed the stickers. at some point it has had a full respray but it hasnt been the best of jobs. there is orange peel in quite a few places. can i just wet and dry and polish or is a respray needed. also the rear spoiler has rotted above the light clusters and there is rust under the spoiler, is this likely to be the tailgate or is there a metal channel running through the spoiler? also in desperate need of an o/s rear light cluster

i need to have my front bumper repainted but the car has had a full respray at some point. it is still black but it looks as tho it has a gold metallic in the paint. Is this a standard colour?

update, there is no fluid being pumped to front o/s and rear n/s callipers, does this point to abs pump or master cylinder?

yeah car has abs but no light on, reason im thinking MC is because when i press the pedal there is nothing and feels very notchy. if mineral fluid has been used instead of glycol based it will dissolve the rubber seals and cause the MC to leak. run check with vagcom and shows no faults with abs

today the wife was out in a passat we have just bought as a run around, its a 2002 1.8t. as she was only driving to the local shop 1/2 mile away the car ground to a halt, so i went round and met her. The front right and rear left brakes had seized on solid and smoke was pouring out. In order to get the car home i released the pressure by slightly undoing the bleed nipple so she could drive litterally round the corner to the house. now there is no brake pedal at all. Is this likely to be the master cylinder. Also i believe it may have the wrong brake fluid in as it is green and i dont believe it should do. Any help is much appreciated

does anyone know the weight of a stock tt front bumper including the lights and indicators?

dont have a red switch mate as it uk spec car, only jap has them

steams it feels like something is fouling the selector rod as im sure i moved it through the gears before fitting the box, also its not everytime i select drive its just most lol. it didnt do this before replacing the box

just fitted a replacement autobox today, refilled with oil to correct level but i can select gear 1 or 2. its as if something is stopping the selector from going into gear. it moves from park to drive fine, was to dark to see underneath at this point. also when in drive it stalls when i apply the brake. any ideas?
