Similar thing happened to me. The car was completely paid for and I was self employed for 3 years. As it is when your self employed, finances fluctuated and the same thought went through my mind. Ended up that I just garaged the car for 2 years and brought her out again when I had some money. My car was standard when I garaged her and I am only starting to put money in now but there was no way I could sell the car as a short term fix to any financial problems. Its the car that keeps us sane when everyone else is going nuts :D

Dont worry mate. That caught me out too. The amp is located in the boot. Looking into the boot, its near the right hand shocker so you will need to remove some of the trim to get to it.

You have to do a bit of a rewire because the back speakers have an amplifier which, when disconnect from the BOSE stereo, stops working. Try using search to see if you can find anything about it
