  2. Front Bumper Removal 1. Working under the front of the vehicle remove the three plastic clips securing the front bumper to the splash guard. To do this, depress the central pins. 2. On each side of the vehicle, unscrew the upper screws and remove the lower clips securing the wheelarch liners to the front bumper. 3. Have an assistant support the front bumper, then prise out the plastic covers and undo the three upper screws from the front body panel. 4. Carefully pull the sides of the front bumper out from the wing panels and withdraw it from the front of the vehicle. On models with the front foglights or headlight washers, disconnect the wiring as it is being removed. Where applicable, disconnect the from the exterior temperature sensor. Refitting 1. Reverse of removal. Check the condition of the polystyrene packing on the front valance and renew if necessary.

  19. They are the same as what is on a zed anyway mate.
  20. yep, timing mark came in real handy when checking my timing. I was running at 12 instead of 15. slight move of the CAS fixed that and there I was. Bang on 15 :hyper:
  21. I had access to lots of belts too (a friend owned an autofactors) and i couldnt stop them squealing. tightening and loosening just didnt make any difference. after a couple of months i got fed up with it
  22. Ive tried 2 lightweight pulleys. first one was from ebay. £25 The car after fitting does rev easier and sounds like it have more grunt. its hard to explain the difference. Only problem i was encountering was the belts would squeal for about a minute on starting. This soon got embarrassing. I read that others had used the SGP pulley from smithy so I decided to buy one. second pulley. SGP with belts £110 On first look the new pulley looked the same as the ebay one until I removed it from the car and compared them side by side. The quality of the SGP was outstanding and the edges were smooth. Side by Side I easily saw that the belt tracks were different by nearly 2cm. Was this causing the squeal? I believe so. If the tracks were wrong, what else was wrong? Since ive fitted the SGP pulley Ive had no problems with belts since and the engine is in great shape 2 years later :) thats my experience's anyway
  23. If you send me you email address to pete@highermeadow.co.uk i'll add you to my events list for whats happening locally :hyper:
