Not sure if this is the right place to find this out but here goes. Which garages in the NW would you trust your Z with?? I mean from tyre changes to engine overhaul. Just thought it might be a good idea to get a list of regional garages and peoples experiences with them. Pete

yes the Z has been in storage for a while and i do have evidence of condensation in the fog/reversing lights. guess its a good a reason to go 99'spec even tho it is expensive. Cheers guys, i was just worried it was a sign of something alot worse.

Hi Guys Have a look at these photos. I dont remember seeing them last time i washed the car which was about 4 weeks ago. The cracks havent broken the surface so they are definately within the lense. Im concerned what might have caused it as the other side is starting to do the same :confused:

For no reason my wipers start at normal speed constant even when in the off position and wont stop. If I move the dial to intermittant they still stay on at normal constant speed. Then they will stop as sudden as they started and work normally again. Ive changed the relay but that made no difference. Anyone else had this problem?

I get it everytime i start the car for about 30 secs. turn on the heating i can make the squeel start again for about 30 secs.. its doing my head in :(

Hi Smithy! ok squeeling wise, if i put the heating to max (ECO mode) it squeels it head off. i went for those belts because i have a friend who owns a motor factor and i took a load of belts and tried them until they fit. took back what didnt :D Its a UK spec car and it definately seems to be the alternator belt squeeling as I can make it squeel by turning on heating (ECO mode). The car does have air-con but it needs re-gasing as its not cold.. Whats even better is starting my Z at 6:00am in the morning and waking everyone up.. But thats a personal pleasure :D:D

Hiya mate These are the belts I am using Gates PN Length Air Con 48359 925mm Alternator 48365 1000mm Power Steering 48356 888mm

So how much did it cost in the end and did everything fit ok?

Do your belts squeal at all? Mine do and its getting worse. Tighten it as much as i dare and i think its too tight now.

My aircon stopped working last year. how can i tell if it need regasing or not?

Belts sqeal like hell though for the first 30 secs after starting.
