I have moved my power steering pot from engine bay so i cut that metal pipe. Don't need a flare kit. Long nose pliers stick inside the metal pipe rotate a couple times. Job done :)

You need to make the ends of the pipe a bit wider and a hose with jubilee clips will do the job. Mine is done that way for a year now and no problems
