And a new Toyota...
THIS..... ....is pure comedy :D (and true!) - it would be ok-looking if it didn't have such a tall arse and such skinny rear tyres. I prefered the old concept version (not the colour though!) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2d/Toyota_FT-86_005.JPG ,but i guess that safety legislation, and the general slant away from "pointy", pedestrian-impact-test-failing cars took a large ammount of freedom away from the designers in the end.

Tring, Silver 300zx, deep dish alloys - near the cow roast pub
I see you all the time, and occasionally you are behind/infront of me on my way to work. I am driving the black MR2, or just stood at the side of the road gaping in awe after work. Is it......... You? -points-

ingrown whiskers
THIS. Granted i now have a short beard, but i used to get grief from my own face shaving it all the time. As long as you keep the hairs short with an "i-stubble" or something of that description they are no issue, works for me :D

Piston Heads
good question :P i'll know when i see it! I was ideally after a silver (or black) NA (for now) 2+2. A guy on the MR2 forum had a fantastic one for sale, but it was just too earlly in the year for me to go for it. He wanted my MR2 plus a few quid and i was ready to rip his arm off - then we got approved on a mortgage and things got put on hold. But now..............

Piston Heads
Yeah, I had a look in the classifieds after the change yesterday (still looking for that perfect Z!) and it seems a bit pants now tbh, compared to the old site anyway. Just goes to show that form over function is definitely not the way to go when it comes to "for sale" sections!

New Ford Capri for 2012 ?
I had a Capri :thumbup1: Brilliant in the summer, not so great in the winter.......... old Fords don't seem to like starting in the cold! And now to the pic' whoring.... God how I miss that car though :( I've never seen another with such tidy bodywork (that isn't some sort of show car!)

HAHA! I'm not a Z expert but.....
I really should stop looking at Z's until we are done with the house move, but i can't keep away! ..... I think I might be infected with the "Z bug" before i've even bought one:scared:

(Possibly very) Silly questions from a Z "n00b"
Imaginary muffins all round! Thanks very much guys :D Should be moving in a week or two, then my MR2 will be for sale. As long as it goes for a half decent price I reckon I'll be looking for a 1992-1993 JDM 2+2 N/A after your (very helpful) advice. I'm sure there are many more silly questions I haven't thought of just yet - so stay tuned!

(Possibly very) Silly questions from a Z "n00b"
Ok, before everyone on here rolls their eyes and gives a big sigh please bear with me....... Now the house move is in full swing I can FINALLY begin the process leading to me buying a 2+2 Z (thank GOD). I just have a couple of questions: Year: What year tends to be the "best", meaning spec' included, known faults etc? I really want to get one with the digital air-con control, and cruise control buttons on the wheel, as i just think they look better (IMO!!!). Will probably be an auto, as I won't be ragging it (and I fancy a change, maybe not literally - bad joke. shoot me now.) - which leads me nicely on to my next question.... MPG: (here we go again) - Now don't face-plam yourselves just yet! I don't expect miracles, just a realistic idea of what I can expect from a TT and an N/A on a A-road/motorway run, and round town. My head tells me N/A due to the apparent lack of issues and shagged ones on the market, but my heart tells me TURRRRRBO! Insurance: I've done a bit of research on this already, and the Z (a 2+2 N/A one!) will only cost me £20 a year than my MR2 non turbo. I used Keith Michaels insurance, as they were recommended by a member on IMOC. If anyone has any other companies they think will do a better deal (on a non-mileage restricted policy!). I'm 24 with a clean license and 6 years NCB. As anyone would do I have been trawling the interwebs, but there are so many conflicting answers from the US owners/Euro owners/Aussies that i thought I'd just bore you lot to death with my questions...... sorry :( Any answers, or handy nuggets of advice will be rewarded by your own sense of self - satisfaction, and an imaginary muffin. :w00t: Thanks guys!

three for two
The "Ice" stuff is really good (though i haven't tried the clay bar yet). The clear liquid wax one is what i use on the MR2 and the pics speak for themselves..... leaves no white marks or dusty residue like other waxes :thumbup1:

Hello People! :)
Hmm..... that is VERY interesting Yowzer...... I think the insurance might kill me on a TT though :(

Hello People! :)
ARGH! Sorry mods! (and i read the posting rules as well!) :scared:

Hello People! :)
Haha, i'm not TOO bothered about the fact that it will drink petrol, the MR2 isn't brilliant (and i know it won't give me the epic MPG of a modern car!), just i have heard a TT is about 14MPG combined! I think i would bankrupt myself on the V-power on that!
