  2. Thank you all, for your replies, noted, but a long way to go as engine to fit is need of rebuild! This project is hitting a brick wall all ready! Having to do up engine with a front oil seal problem, Crank is away to get machined up, then the head and valves to be fixed! ££££££££££££
  3. Hi All, Due to a bottom Crankshaft oil seal leaking my alternator belt, it came off 4 years ago and manage to get into the timing belt housing and buggered the engine up. Well it's a good time to pull it to bits and fix it now. Got an engine and gearbox but need clutch plate and bolts for flywheel odd bits to make it all work. Clutch pedal to fit. Who's best to see for parts and what's this project like to do? Also pulling it to bits, the wiring looms a bit brickle, starting to think is this wise project!
  4. I had the same problem changed the oil seal and a car mechanic had done it before me and it leaked with him too and it did with me, bloody thing and the follow year made the alternator belt come off and rap it's self around the timing casing making the timing belt move, now a blood big job and bill, well pissed off. Has anyone stopped this oil leak, if it starts! Yes I did put the oil seal in the right way and yes I did put oil on it before fitting and no mark on the crank to be seen to damage the oil seal and it was a proper Nissan oil seal. Please advise, got another engine to fit, but would like to fix the old one too, if I can stop this oil seal from leaking!!! What full. Cheers Citizen.
  5. Thanks for the info, well I'll have to get info found and bash on with it.
  6. Hello All, Auto to Manual-conversion, is it worth the hassle and how long does it take to do? Also do you need different turbos going from Auto to Manual, if so would you reckon on bigger turbos or is this a waste of money. Got a spare engine and gearbox waiting to go in, just time and know how needed. Would you ship this project out and at what cost? Can anyone please advise. Cheers Colin
