  7. Si, found this on you tube..been looking for a very good wax for the car and a friend recommended this. I'm asking as you seem to be the expert!!   8. its a relatively commom problem with the Zed. One of the main problems is the idle control valve becomes clogged up with dirt and dosent work properly. If you use the search facility it will bring up a wealth of info..HTH
  9. its below your cabin temp setting and if like mine its disconnected it should read -86 or something like that!
  10. from memory thats the best place to put them, as close to the throttle bodies as possible HTH

  14. Typical Sony speak to be honest. I have been reading their blurb with interest and typical of their marketing stradegy in the past. I invested in a Toshiba hd dvd player and have not regreted it and have now a good collection of them. Have to say the difference between dvd's and hd dvd's are night and day , picture and audio, and find it very hard to watch normal sd dvd. If anyone is interested you can now buy the toshiba hd e1 from most retailers for around £200.. A superb machine alround..

I have the tein super street coilovers, lowered around 60mm..I have adjusted the camber as well as I have ajustable everything!! lol Have to say It handles like its on rails, even to the point of coming on full boost on bends. ( tempting fate there! lol ) ..the ride is a little harsh, but prefer it that way ..Still have standard anti roll bars , so would be probably a good thing to upgrade and have carbing strut braces on the car as well hth
  16. Will do Mick..even if you connect a hidef source to a standard def display it will still look pretty good..though not as good as the real thing !

  18. already have changed the pcv valves, so will look at the other options as well. Didnt know that you couldnt have full boost under a certain temp..learn something new every day!! Have ordered a new temp sender from Mike so hopefully will sort out that problem. Thanks for all your help guys Mark
  19. ok, fixed up the connector as best as possible to make a solid contact...still makes no difference. ( possible sender faulty? ) .5bar on full boost..the idle seems to be ok when warm, so its a cold idle problem..Also ran ecu diagnostic again when engine was hot and got 55 again...help!
  20. Thanks Clarkey, I'll head out now and do a DIY fix and see how I get on. Also can anyone let me know what I'd need to clean , check to address dodgy idle etc Thanks Mark
  21. As well, when the ecu throws up a code 55, what would cause safety boost.any help would be appreciated Thanks
  22. had a look around the engine bay there, when it wasnt f*cking raining!. Couldnt see any visible boost leaks. The water temp sender plug is broken and seems to be connected via gravity alone...
