  5. Hi, does anyone know if and where I can get my grubby little hands on a haynes workshop manual for my 1990 zed? The only thing I can find online is one covering the older models upto 1989 and also the freebie one to view online. Cheers.

  12. Well I just got home to Swindon after a round trip to Essex to buy my 1st Zed. Even the driving rain didnt wipe the smile of my face! Wanted one since a gunmetal grey over took my mate way back when I was a teen. Maybe its my mid life crisis, but I dont give a damn, she rocks! Funnilly enough its gun metal, N/A auto, 1990. She's seen some life so needs some TLC but thats what I wanted. Roll on the summer, cant wait ta get the t tops off and rip some tarmac :cool3:
  13. Gutted! Went to view the zed and on the test drive noticed it was running safety boost! So told the guy I would get back to him and said the usual " Got another to go see". He called me 1/2 hour later to say that the next person to see it had bought it. Oh well I'd rather hang onto my cash till a good one than fork out on problems from the start. Theres always next time :)
  14. Cheers for the warm welcome and advise. I'm nearly as excited as when my kids were born! lol. If all goes to plan will post some pics :)
  15. Hi all I'm a newbie  I'm off tomorrow to hopefully buy my first Zed. Just hope its as good as it looks! Can anyone advise if there is a decent garage in the Wiltshire area? Also are Adrian Flux the best to go to for insurance? Ive heard that I should be able to get classic car cover on a 92yr, is this true? Cheers, Chris.
