I have a mongoose on my tt it's quite quiet but a nice noise.Probably a bit quiet for you compared to the kakimoto.

On a hot day you take the roof off so aircon would be wasted.

Mines a manual,i really wanted a manual because i used to think they were quicker, but i dont think there is any difference between manuals and autos they both go well.
