spoke too soon

right just got my zed through mot foned my insurance company to change some details and they want to increase my payments from £48p/m to £230 im insured on a highly modifyied accord(jdm h22a(240bhp) engine swap,bodykit and full chassis change to type-r):scared: they say its to much of a jump in power even though its an actual decres by 18bhp:smartass: anyway in total they want an extra 1500 per year. iv tryed compare the market and got a quote of £652 but that means iv been paying 9 months just to lose another years no claims....i wish insurance was easy... i might add the first real drive of the zed was to the center and back and iv never had a smile like that driving anything so as you can imagin iafter the work iv put in getting the zed up to standards i really want to drive it.

well it turnd out after i had stripd away the trim on one side that there was no inline fuse at all so after rewiring a new line in..i descoverd the fuse behind the light toggles was blown ohh well lesson learnd i think

the pads were changed a week ago and have only seen the trip to the test center and back, i refurbs the callipers about a fortnight ago...on the brake test they came up extremely well...its just the disks..i was going to change the disks soon anyway so nows a better time than any

kl i like spirted driving as much as the nxt man but only if the conditions are right and theyre no traffic.felt a bit of brake judder on the way back from mot.sso i orderd a set of black diamond drilld and grooved disks..iv read the myths of drilled disks cracking.but like you said this doesnt happn if you dont drive like an idiot for prolonged periods. i was asking because iv read that the zed is prone to disk warpping

yea the new one cam with a bulb the wee light on the dash switch isnt lighting any more..the wierd thing is though my dad put a pulse meter on the terminals and it seams as though the current is reaching the switch

oh aye and its an import

right my zed failed on the following things headlights need ajusted wiper blades not secure rear fog not working stupid stuff i know.took the rear fog lght off and the +teminal had corroded right away.went got one from the local shop fitted it..then when i went to connect to the terminals the + touched - and blew somthing now its not working. iv checked all related fuses and there all fine..any suggestions on what its could be. ill add that all other lights are working fine

yea really is quality items it was over ebay he wanted to do this not on here hes making me up a couple of costom pieces and i said i waould see if anyone else was intreasted.

well i got my "UNIVERSAL" washer bottle through today and alas didnt fit anywhere in the car. i eventually had to make a cage for it out of clothes hangers and mount it on a bar that goes from the wheel arch to the bumper just behind the cover why does universal mean fits nothing whithout some imagination????
