  1. look forward to seeing the results :D Sounds like there might be nothing wrong with the engine afterall, besides, if the rings who gone who you not notice it via bad performance like my car
  2. bird replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - Non 300ZX
personally i also like black black ones the best apart from the blue ones that christ@getgreddy has and Jason Farrows as that colour is beautiful, however i don't know what that colour would look like on a standard z though
  3. or a new engine :D
  4. if you get low compression would the car still pull properly?
  5. just been reading back from when my engine turned out with low compression and it said 150 is what ya should be aiming at mate
  6. So what error message will you get then?? And how much boost would you then be running?
  7. see ive always woundered, what actually happens when you do get Det? If the sensor is there to detect it and it doesn't actually put you in safety mode then realisticaly what good is it? what exactly does it do if you do have det???
  8. :headvswal Not the current one
  9. I think his name is Jason mate :mac1:
  10. been there done that :D and no i didn't have to pay :hyper:
  11. dont worry, i only ever get them taking the piss on my threads :x: Stick with it though, this is definately the best forum as far as im concerned, Hope you get all your probs sorted
  12. dont worry about it mate, you'll get there, besides that if your feeling down just look at all the problems ive had and then you can have a laugh  :x: Oh and then after reading Funky si's post above, look at my total in my sig, ive really been shafted by a previous member ( i know im asking for something cheeky here) :mac1:
  13. Congrats mate. So does that mean its up for sale yet again then  I dont know how this car keeps ending up for sale, from what i remember of it twas a beauty :headvswal
  14. well hopefully it'll all the sorted at the weekend. however . . (yes more bad news) . . . tonight i was getting a knocking noise which sounded like it was coming from the left front wheel, mainly only when going straight so im goning to have to check the wheel is on properly tomorrow, (i hope its not a bairing but doesn't sound like it is)
  15. yes :headvswal
  16.
  17. Its hard to explain the noise, if you put your lips together and blow you get a similar noise. Doesn't sound too bad when stationary or anything, just when moving (accelarating that is)
  18. Possible but would that not only make the noise when boosting?? Even with little accelaration it makes the noise :headvswal
  19. I thought about that but then thought someone may want bits and peices of it so i thought i might be able to make a little bit back from it :D
  20. me too, Im not worried its just that i dont like the noise, mightbe then engine wanting to go pop :x: I thought it might have been the manifold blowing but its not :headvswal
  21. still old one til the weekend :headvswal
  22. When my car is cold or just been sitting for a little while i get like a blowing sound. Happens when i accelarate  Doesn't sound nice at all. anyone got any clues???
