Well, for anybody thats interested, i spoke to Ian today. He's working in banbury on a site where he's not meant to have his phone. He's got no credit on it so cant get online either. He'll be back next weekend, but said he's trying to get some credit for it, so may be back online before then.

Ive asked about buying this as a whole. If he can get it running so i can drive it home, i'll have it. But if he gets it running, he's keeping it!

Could you not keep the tucked away, and buy something newer to use that was slightly cheaper? Problem with having expensive cars, there are expensive to fix, and you dont want to abuse them as much = less fun.

Thing is, most things can be done without needing to chip into the clubs money. All you need is willing people, and some organisers... 10% off a show ticket, i dont really see the point. If its £20 a ticket, you'll save £2. The cost of petrol etc, whats £2? I dont think you need money to have a good time, just willing.
