I lost on the deal, but id made on the M3 i started with if that makes sense, so im about even (minus the cost of tax, fuel, insurance etc). The M3 i got at a good price because the gearbox was broken. A lot of work manual converting it, but was worth doing it. M3 = Some cash and a Hyundai Hyundai = Some cash a the NA Na = Some cash

Had my NA on ebay. I thougth id give it one go on there. If it sold, id buy a TT, if it didn't, i'd convert mine. Had a couple of silly offers (As you do on ebay!). I had an offer that was a bit less than i wanted, but wasn't silly, so i counter offered £1500 (was up for £2000). He came today, and loved it. Id told him all about the TT bumper and the fact that the fresh paint was the wrong shade, and he was still happy to drive 2.5 hours to see it. Decent test drive later, and the money was in my pocket. Im 50/50 with it. I know it'll be a lot less hassle to buy a TT, than convert mine. But now im tasked with trying to find a Manual TT thats in as good a condition as that NA. The new owner has been on here before he bought it, im not sure what his user name is, but i think he'll be on here now. Have to say, he seemed a top man, no messing. Its an old car now, so he was realistic in what to expect, and not thinking it would be "as new" as some people expect. He's had 2 zeds before, and Zedworld rebuilt his Turbos on his last! Goodbye my first and last Manual NA, Enjoy her Tom!! Now where did i put that TT!!

NA bumper TT bumper in Silver No bumper! And Finished..

Well, its just the TT front bumper that needed painting. Its been done, but the colour match wasn't great. It is a darker shade than the rest of the car. Long story cut short. The car is on ebay. Somebody is coming tomorrow and if they like it, they want to take it there and then. The TT bumper was on, but silver. The NA bumper, wasn't mint and had rotten brakets. I decided id lose the money getting it painted, than put the NA bumper back on. Yes it was a quick job, only cost me £100, but the buyer didn't want it on a silver bumper! If it doesn't sell, i'll have it redone and a couple of other things done to make it mint. Also, ive had a price of £500 for a mates garage to TT convert it if i get a doner car. So thats what i'll do it it doesn't sell. Ive told the fella coming tomorrow about the paint, and he's still happy to come 2.5 hours, so fingers crossed. If it sells, i'll be on the hunt for a nice TT manual! Pictures uploading.

Just about to drop my car at the bodyshop and im meeting him at the paint shop on the way to get the stuff. I looked at the paint code yesterday but not im not 100% sure! Im sure its TK3, which ive googled and its shappire blue from a 92-96 zed. Im not with the car so cant double check. Anybody? Cheers

Renewal is due for the M3. Its £250ish, but i sold the 200sx today, so im going to put the M3 on that policy for now.

Finding Footman James is the best and worse thing that ive done. I started off paying £104 for my first zed! Then with it being so cheap, i bought the GTR, another M3 etc.... Ive spent ££££££ in cars! Still, thats what lifes all about!

I wasn't a fan of it when it changed, but now im used it it, i dont mind it.

Where were the turbos from mate?

Wow, this thread is a year old! I remember tho.

Even at £4-5000, it wouldn't sell quickly in my eyes. The person buying it will need to know what it is, if they didn't, they wouldn't pay much more than any other up for sale. If somebody wanted a 99 spec genuine car, i think they would know they need to pay a high price for it. Unless, somebody in the zed community bought it without really wanting it, just becasue it was cheap and they could afford to hold onto it.
