Hi guys and girls I have a an N/A with custom headers . . . cat-less down pipes . . .. . and a recently fitted cat back exhaust with x-pipes from the group buy that ran a few weeks back now . . . so basically I have a straight-thru zorst and the sound it produces any f1 team would be proud of So for my sanity I need to tone it down . . . . as under any accelleration or sittin at 70 on the motorway it is torture and at certain revs sounds very metalic even though its done 500+ miles since being fitted I have made local enquiries with custom zorst maker who wants £300 to cut me x-pipes and add some inline boxes or fit a 3"x15" muffler into the section before the x-pipe or h-section. another idea could be to fit some high flowing sports cats . . . . before i commit to anything I would appreciate any advice . . .hints or suggestions that you may have

Does anyone know if it is possable to swap a complete (16 bit) ecu from a 96 n/a for an 8 bit one from an earlier model? . . . . basically I want to be able to fit a custom chip which is not so easy to do with my current ecu I welcome your feedback or any alternative suggestions Thanx Mikeb

Hi guys, I have an import with one recessed fog set into the smooth painted section of me bumper which looks naff . . . . . . as I am having the bumper sprayed I would like to lower the fog to the lower half of the bumper and fit another either side of the no plate . . . . . so which route should I take . . do I alter me existing bumper or fit a uk one or wire up inner rears . . . idea of cost and practcality would also be a big help. thanx mikeb

Hi guys, I need to adjust the neg camber I have on the rear tyres so took the Z to BMTR in birmingham for the 4 wheel laser line up . . . . . . . Well after at least an hour of fighting with the adjusting bolts the operator had to give in as the bolt/nuts were well and truely siezed on. His sugestion was to have the siezed items heated up (which will destroy the bushes) and replaceme the nuts,bolts and bushes with new ones. Anyone else share this problem and if so what is the best way of getting it sorted . . . . . . . I have also heard that if it is burnt out that the bush comes as an integrated part of the top link . . . . . . again your input will be much appreciated. thx mikeb
