i was wondering if any of you's lads have these vans, or know anything about them we have one at work (ford transit t260 diesel) and its starting to jump out of second gear and crunching into second gear, we have had it to a local ford dealer who said it could be the clutch cable ( i dont fooking thinkso) they adjusted the cable and its no better so we phoned them back up and told them, there reply was "its the cable we have had a few in with this prob, and a new cable sorts it out" (again i dont fookin think so) anyone know if this is a common fault on them, or do you know what it could be (its a 2001 y reg i think) cheers in advance allan

its not the actual time to do it thats the prob, its the availability of the person doing it, if they are busy could take weeks its not a job for a bloke with a big tool box, its a job for someone who has preferably done this before IMHO
