if you own your own house, i can go to the housing benefit and say im living there with you and i need housing benefit as you are charging me (lets just say) £40 a week, as long as you sign the housing forms then i will get hopusing benfit but you singing the forms aint a contract for you to tell me what i can and cant do in your house, it also doesnt mean i have to keep paying you, and you have no control over me what so ever, you cant make me leave you cant increase the rent and its illegal for you to change the locks if i leave the house its a contract for the housing benefit to pay you, its not a tenancy agreement

you dont need a contract to claim housing benefit

if they are on housing benefit theywill have on record what housing benefit is payed to who and at what adress but i agree violenece usually works (it does for us anyway) the roblem these days is that all the alchy's and druggies and dreggs of society are all educated on the matters of fleecing the system and good honest working landlords like ourselves

it makes no difference you could just ahve it switched off and they would live there without it they dont have to claim sqautters rights as there was no contract signed to say they have to pay rent and when the rent is due and how much it would be, they can simply say that the guy said they could live there for free verbal contranct aint worth the paper its written on (if you get what i mean)

well he is fooked then, i can see a lenghty expensive court case coming along, they dont even have to pay you rent if they dont want to as you havent stipulated how much it would be ad how it would be paid

if they had signed ashort term tennancy agreement and the time was up (as long as 28 days notice of exucution of agrement was given) then you can get the police involved and have them remove as they are trespassing im suer if you and mac went round they would soon move out though lol

if they want to be awkward they can, as you have no say (because of no contract signed), you could get a short term tenancy agrrement made up and get them to sign it (they aint obliged to though) have they said they wont go, cause in my expierinace with problem tennats usually they just leave without any hassle, tread very carefully if you are going to forcefully remove them, the sneaky fookers use mobile's to record any conversations then try and get you done if you say the wrong thing (*******s)

just read it again (they havent signed a contract)usually its only 28 days notice go to a solicitor and get it in writing that he wants them out in 28 days and get them to sign it failing that, just use a little force, thats sometimes what we have to do

depends on what the contract says, has your mate rented the house the sub let it to the two smelly tennants, if so he would find it very hard to get them out as he aint the landlord how long was the tenancy agrrement signed for, if it was (lets juat say) six months and they have time left on the agreement it would probably end up going to court and costing a fortune need more details really
