checked my steering fluid (when cold) and its about 1.5 inches down, is this enough to make my power steering hum, its getting louder and more frequent (but mainly happens when ive been driving for a while) STARTING TO WONDER IF ITS SOMETHING ELSE THAT IS MAKING THE NOISE (oops fookin caps lock)

nearly 140 000 on my tubs and my car is still quicker than a lot of less milaege cars on here, although they are smoking slightly, and my discs are lucky to last 2000 miles as i drive luike a cock maintained well they will last driven hard they will cost but the smile on your face is all worth it
