i had a messy splt up with my ex, although we didnt have kids we did rent a flat together, had been with her for about 6 years, i lost all my friends and some family through the lies she told after we split, lost all my belongings, had to move back in with my dad, things were really bad, i was depressed for a very long time, rumours are she had an abortian, things couldnt get worse THEY DIDNT, i went out with a cousin of mine on the drink, had a good nite, and eventually got into a good frame of mind, then after some time i met my soul mate michelle, she is great, we never argue, we have lots in common and i can see the rest of my lifef with her what im trying to say is, dont think this is the end, it will feel like you will never recover, but beliee me you will keep ya chin up bud and from my experience, dont let it get nasty, especially for your younguns sake

does your mum make your realatioship hard, the fact she let you phone means she is saying "see, ive done it", most people although they want to break up still feel guilty and embarrased when the other half talks to family members i went through this, just cause my ex's father didnt like me, i split up with her just to please him and made her phone him just to get some sort of approval really hope im wrong and i wish you all the best for the future just seems strange to have a newborn and being happy then al of a sudden she wans a divorce
