FFS, its people like you that force people not to use insurance as it should, insurance rises because of the amount of tosspots that drive about without insurance crashing into innocent people like myself and causing damage to cars and injury to people, i was in agony for months and couldnt take time off work as its just me and the boss and would be hard, i thought well i may aswell get a bit of a pyout as i actually payed extra for the personal cover as i always do, i paid so there for be covered some people should wind their necks in FFS:headvswal:headvswal:headvswal

basically, when you rev on stand still when the revs drop from 2500 rpm you get a slight knocking noise, the car still runs and drives very well without any efect to performance, although i havent driven it since it started to knock (be a few weeks now)

hmm, never thought of that, but if you are fully comp i thought maybe you could still get personal injury, maybe worth a try as the insurance company stick it up ya every year, dont see why we cant turn the tables once in a while lol

as said about £2300, i want £2700 for my car with a knocking bottom end, it still drives and runs fine, the sills can be a costly job (prob about as much as repairing mine) and to do the sump gasket is about the same as doing the bottom end on my car, ive got 3 potential buyers at that price, but i have the added benefit of the kit suspension wheels and so on, so for yours with the porbs you have £2300 is the top end price you may get, try pistonheads.com
