ive been busy making plans to email or write to my local mp reagarding the renting out of private accomodation, the lanlord now doesnt recieve the rent from the housing benefit direct, it now goes to the tennant to give to the landlord, it is to help them handle money and to look for cheaper accomodation, ffs we only charge £50 a week, no council tax, free hot water and heating in the winter months also if the tennant falls into arrears, we are not allowed to complain to the housing benefit till its 8 weeks in the arrears and then fill a form out to suspend the rent which takes another 2 weeks then an investiagtion into non payment of rent will be made and it could still favour the tennant if he promises not to do it again, its a fookin liberty it is, we have lost thousands i the year it has run and my job could be at risk fookin goverment, its a joke, they whoever comes up with these ideas want lashing with a stick with shit on the end
