  3. Arses, missed out on this, I've been after one of these!! Dammit!
  4. Its really hard to work from home with a baby. I tried this when Tasha was small setting up my own real nappies business, but as babies get older they require more and more attention - i ended up having to work evenings when she was in bed in the end as I just couldn't get on during the day. Eventually I went back to work full time, couldn't afford not to - if you're on a low or modest income though, you would get tax credits which help with the costs of childcare and some supplemental income. Explore all your options, because it really is incredibly hard to do a decent amount of work from home with a baby - and soon as they get mobile you only have the short amount of time when they nap to get anything done. Def check out flexible work patterns, etc J x
  5. meeting the knights who say "nee"?

  7. Ooh! I cycled home in a huge storm earlier, got soaked through to my undies and I've never done it so fast in my life, 12 minutes door to door, normally 20 mins as its uphill all the way! We're brewing another storm here, its getting all dark and broody looking! I love mad weather (just not when I'm on my bike!)

  13. Its never personal, I never feel worried about putting my point of view on here, life would be dull if we all had the same view/thoughts/feelings etc! Thanks for the info re your hanging doobrees!
  14. I'm a proud minority Rich
  15. Alan you confuse being christian with being a royalist, which I am not. I am a born again, left winger. In my opinion, everyone is equal in the eyes of god, so good luck to these people who got married last Friday, ALL of them - I don't know any of them personally so have no strong feelings about them and would no sooner watch the royal strangers get married than anyone else I don't know. And please don't confuse what I said about not rejoicing in another person's death with being sympathetic to the Taliban and their politics, but I am well read enough to know UK media do not paint the real picture in its entirety and I do not swallow the news stories as they are presented, without question. 2 sides to every story and no politician is without their own personal agenda. Not being all x files about it, but everything is not as it appears. I do not like the US government and do not support their being the uninvited world police
  16. Just my feelings and opinions guys, which fortunately I am well entitled to hold. I am going to turn the other cheek and ignore some of the comments about faith and religion as I am a practising Christian. Doesn't mean I want to ram it down anyone's throats. Love you guys to bits on here but fundamentally disagree with a lot of your politics and views. That's my perogative :tt2:
  17. I bet its Brett, am sure he put his back on the road in May and he lives in Sunderland
  18. "I just can't find it in me to be glad one more person is dead, even if it is Osama bin Laden" - Harry Waizer survivor of 9/11
  19. "I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that." - Martin Luther King, Jr
  20. Totally agree - plenty of other conflicts in the world the allied forces could get involved in but don't. Zimbabwe is the first to spring to mind, especially as it was the UK government who went in, arse raped the country, then when it all got a bit real back in the 70's and Mugabe came to power they fled and there's been genocide there ever since. And no UK military intervention, just lots of finger wagging and consternation from afar....why? Coz they already f**ked that country years ago!
  21. Just take your spare dolphin out the engine, that'll sort it straight away
  22. Looks lush! You should have popped in for a cuppa on the way past!
