On saturday night one of the above :xxx:s took the Z badge off the front of my car, its fooked the paint work up on my headlight panel and pi55ed me off no end :mad: Then today I was going to tax the car and guess what no MOT :eek: So I'm gonna fill in the SORN and leave it till Spring, got a couple of things that need doin so I'm givin it a bit of a rest. I'll be at next meet (Derby) but it'll be in the Disco or eerm :o Corsa :o

Got a Land Rover Disco 300 its the second one Ive had and I'm lookin to change it after Chrismas for a Disco TD5. When I sold the 1st one it had done 300006 miles and still run well. Present one does about 35mpg not as fashionable as some of the Japs but parts and servicing are pretty reasonable. Good all round workhorse but quite a comfortable ride. IMO

I wouldn't say no to an extra inch :D

Just got back from the above, absolutly brilliant I made it a family day out and no body was disapointed. Only saw Slick Pete and that was later on as there was masses of folks there. Saw 1 other Z a nice red un with lambo's but dont know who it was. Unfortunatly the day/night was spoiled a little by the 2/3 hour queue to get out (probably more for those parked closer to the strip) it was fookin mental, apparently this was due to an accident on the lanes leading to the Pod, any body who's been there will understand what sort of caos that would cause as theres only one way in and out and there was a few thousand cars trying to get down there. Still it was worth it :)
