Insurance again!
Time to put the z back on the road so looking for insurance... Aways used Houghtons but they stopped dealing with grey imports, moved to footman james, they went daft money but blamed my wifes conviction for using her phone even though they insured it the year before with that conviction declared, moved to Arian Flux but their price went up even though nothing changed for me and the z did less than 500 miles in the year... so... who's using who? I have a JDM NA Auto and I'm very old lol :) Thanks in advance Steve

What is this?
H Guys, while changing my front pads this ring dropped out, it seemed to be inserted between the hud and disk, I couldnt get it back in without taking the disk off so I thought I'd check out how the other side was done but there wasn't one??? Haven't taken the back wheels of yet but if it has the same unbalanced situation could this be cause of the vibration that was diagnosed as propshaft issue? Thanks Steve

Decission to strip the Z was timely
Glad I decided to strip the car, luckily the rust in the floor is only surface. I presume that this is caused by the lealy targa's..... Stripping the car is fun but I could do with a skip lol

track/ drag tyres
I've done a couple of days at Curborough with Trackdaydrivers, com, not timed but I've joined Shenstone and District car club whose home track is Curborough with the intention of competing. Even though my Z's auto its still good fun.

track/ drag tyres
Just started doing mine, a bit at a time starting with getting rid of some weight. I've joined a local car club and am about to apply for my non race national b to enter into sprint compititions. Will also venture to the Pod to see how much I can improve on my auto's constant 16.6 secs Good luck with the project :)

Stripping the interior out, pretty good nick just needs a clean, drivers bolster has a little fading but still ok.

How do I remove the rear seat?
Thanks guys, it was the bench that was puzzling me, I had tried to pull it up at the front but wasnt sure I was doing the right thing. I'll try not to distort it but it aint goin back in, the interior is coming out as I'm going to use it for sprint days. Cheers Steve

Gonna strip the Z out
My old stock Slicky NA Auto did 15.92 as a best.. maybe manual in the future but got to think of the ££££... just gonna play it by ear really and do what I can when I can.

Gonna strip the Z out
Ok, Ive decided to strip my interior out of my Z, initially the seats and carpets and then... who knows what. Been in two minds about spending some money and making the car perfect but at the end of the day its a NA Auto and will never recoupe what I would need to spend to get it how I want it so... Ive done a couple of sprint days and have to say I really enyoy it, the Z's a bit long and heavy which makes it a little clumbsy but with a few adjustents it could be even more fun, being auto wasnt a massive issue but may have the conversion done when funds allow. Also I'd like to see how much I can improve on the 16.6 drag times. Not sure if there is any value in the Blue interior (I find it quite drab) but if any ones interested in it its in quite good nick, just a little fading on drivers seat bolster but not to bad, both seats are electric. Hopefully Slick Pete will be along to offer some advive.... no... I cant afford a slicktop lol. I need to keep the car road legal for a while as when I can afford the correct FIA gear I want to compete, while its road legal you can compete with a non race national B licence. Any how.... watch this space :) Steve
