In answer to the question of price etc. I was hoping to get £5k - £5.5k for her in good running order with nearly a years MOT 5 months TAX & all the new bits that have just been fitted including 2 new front tyres. I would let it go to a good home as it is for £4k. This is a bargain considering how much the car cost to get to the standard it is. If however no one comes up with the money & wants to start knocking me on price. Then I will just break it & sell in bits as I will get moor money for it that way. The only thing stopping me doing that straight off is my love for the car & the respect for the marque. There's a lot of crap about & its a shame to take a good example off the road. It gets attention everywhere it goes for the right reasons. All mods have been done with great thought for the car & dare I say the everyday reliability of the car :slap: . I do need to move on with my current vehicle situation so unfortunately she will have to go one way or another. :cry:

Working like a mad man mate. Here what your saying Fiarlady but dont have the time to repare myself, so if paying someone else to do it. I might as well knock the price down & let the new owner do the work. If that makes sense.

Not sure if this is the right thing to do yet. I have been looking for a Skyline for a short while so have had the Zed repainted on the front (stone chip city no more) It has got 10 or so months left on the MOT & is is mint knick. Or should I say was unitill I appear to have got a broken ring on cylender 4. The car was fine untill I started looking to sell her. This has been the only thing that has gone wrong in over 30k miles as a daily driver. She now smokes like China lol. Do I put a new lump in, sell as is for a reduced price knowing what needs doing or break & be done with it. Anyone who knows this car will know she's a real looker with full cream leather, Body kit, respray, fantastic ICE unit, etc. She is a TT with a N/A diff set up so is very fast off the mark & through the gears with very little lag. Recently fitted Koyo rad, Greddy Profec e, Pace intercoolers, de-cats, chip etc. Also fitted 2 new front tyres for MOT 2 months ago.

Anyone tried or even heard of Cooper Zeon's for the Zed? I have been offered them at the same price as Avon ZZ3's but have never heard of them. :confused:

:confused: After running the Zed for nearly two years without any problems at all. I was shocked the other night to find after starting the car, then turning the headlights on. After about ten seconds the dipped beam, side lights, rear lights, interior lights all went out whilst the main bean immediately turned on. After that I could not get anything to work bar the main beem. I couldn't even turn the main beam off with the stork. After eventually finding the right fuse down in the drivers side foot well, only to find it blown. Changed it & all was fine. The next few days were ok untill last night after driving about a mile down the road it happened again. All lights out but main beam full on. Has any body had similar problems or got any suggestions how to cure it.

As above. A red Jap import with carbon bonnet & 6 pot LED rear lights on Belgrave road about 1:15pm today.

She would wail like a banshee if I got hold of her lol

I would check your timing. mine did the same till I found out it was 10 degrees out. Moved the CAS to compensate & everything back to normal.
