Hi all been on here for years started off with a UK tt manwel that blew upcurrently On with fitting a new engine , got another UK tt manwel as a run around at the mo Meet sounds good to me

I think that when they were build they never expected anyone to Ever lift the bonnet cos they were never going to go wrong lol

Just treat myself to another zed , is owning 2 too many ? Anyway the central locking on an alarm fob will lock the doors but it won't open the pass side Any quick suggestions ? Also the Speedo works just fine but odometer doesn't graft at all I think its been an auto in a previous life now running a manwel box Could something have been missed ? My other ones been off the road nearly 4 years with s blown engine It's got a replacement in now just waiting to be connected up But I tell u what it ain't half good to be back in a zed again :-)

hi all I'm on with an engine swap that was only ment to be a head removal. anyway thro a complete lack of planning and bad management and also 2 years since i started I could now do with some pictures of the engine / engine bay to help with locating all of the vac pipes etc and where they should go. I have had a search about and cant find any pics of what i am needing. any help, pics or advice would be great. cheers

on a pallet by a third party upright. or so i think. i see where your going. its more of a coating inside the plenum me thinks.

hi all I'm on with an engine swap in my 1990 tt manual. I'm just about to put the new engine into the car but have noticed there is a noticable amount to oil in the drivers side plenum when i open the butterfly valve, the pass side is clean with no oil. The engine seems to have had the pcvs changed and the turbos are apparently reconned. they have turbo technics id tags on them. What could be the cause ????? I really dont want to go through all the chew of putting the engine in, box on and everything else to find out the engines a dud.

hi all whilst driving at any given speed the speedo needle gives up and just hits the bottom ie 0 mph. then when it feels like it it will pick back up and register the correct speed. any ideas on whats wrong and the best fix? cheers rich
