  1. Just looking through some old pictures and found these of the zed from 8 years ago:),not much has changed ( body wise) other than wheels are a grey colour now,can't believe I've had it 8 years already:)

  3. Well finished the alloys today,decided on magnum silver,three coats of paint and three coats of clear coat later and....
  4. Collected my swb from lees:) cheers for that Lee she ran sweet all the way home,first time I've drove it on the road,handles so much better and no rattles:) great engine pulls strong just need to get my new alloys on her:)

  7. Well most of the engines back together,lees done a great job can't wait now,picking my swb up next week after lees got it all road worthy again:drool:

Well finally got the zed through it's Mot today,needed loads doing to it so big thanks to Lee Dent:thumbup1: Just needs a few small tidying up jobs to finish it of,Lee got me some nice alloys they look great now ive had them shot blasted ready to repaint,not sure on the colour as I'm selling it I'll be toning it down,maybe a nice white or silver What do you think? The car is running great and it's going to make someone really pleased as its now in good condition mechanically and body wise. I'll put some pics up when I've decided what colour to go with.
  9. Haha yes and I used the rods to fill in the holes that I had in my sills:) it was good material to use for welding:):thumbup:
  10. Well... Now you come to mention it Andy when I found them hid away under he's worktop, I was half tempted to fit them myself... Lol
  11. Good news rich:) it will soon get there. My zed's been of the road Since early November, Lee said I had the record for the longest time at his garage!! He'll be charging me storage next I guess:)

  13. Jesus rich:( you haven't had much luck with that engine buddy!! All that money you've spent it could of been rebuilt,good to here you haven't lost the zed bug,so did it let go on the way back from the blackpool run? MY own car gave up aswell a couple of months ago,but guess that's what happens when you squeeze out 476 bhp from a 100,000 mile 23 year old engine:(

Just like to say a big thanks to Lee Dent for letting me take over his workshop today so I can do all the plating and welding on on my zed :) cheers bud..can I collect it tomorrow then? ......lol,oh and Lee you've done a Stirling job on that engine bud,she's going to be a rocket ship when she's finished:)

  17. So sorry to read this:( our deepest sympathy to all family on this sad time, we met Mandy a few times at the shows and she really loved her zed,heartbreakering that such a lovely lady was taken at such a young age, Graham and Julie
