  7. I seem to remember watching one of the top gear episodes, there was a transit with an Jaguar XJ 220 engine plumbed in to the middle of the van,it was quick but Can't remember what it raced, they must be quick with a 300 tt engine, would this be the same kind of set up? In the middle or at the front of the transit?

  12. Manged to fix it,had the wrong gap( ie packers) behind the clutch,All works fine now ready for our hot summer:)
  13. Happy birthday yah oldy :happybday:
  14. Just been on you tube, and found that the compression washers may be spacers for the clutch plate on the air con pully, apparently you need the correct gap between the pully and the clutch plate?so does the clutch have one spacer or more? I only found one when removed,so only put one back in,on start up my clutch on the compressor is spinning slightly making a matalic noise until you turn on the air con, then when it energies it holds and works prefect, does this make any sense?
  15. Had an issue today with my air con pump, the stud that holds this on (see pics) snapped of, so I had to re- drill and tap for new stud, this was no easy feet but manged it, so reassembling the pump I noticed there was a flat washer and a compression washer then the nut that holds it all on , does any one now where the compression washer goes please? Is it with the flat washer or some where else? Cheers
