Martin as the title said, I realy dont know where to start and whot to say! My farther passed away from a polmanry embilism just over 10 years ago now,but he sufferd from cancer for two years befor so I know the road your heading down resonably well. You are right cancer is a bast-ard and at the moment there is no total cure, dispite the hardwork that is taking place. I can not give you any advice, the road is only yours to steer, each and averyone of us deals with these things in our own way. One thing I will say is not to change any thing you do drasticly and try to live a normal life as far as you can, live and feel the good things in life, sunny days, laughter and so on. I am shure your uncle would want life to continue as it is. I am also shure there is not much laughter and happyness around your family at the present, but please remember that your memeries are there for ever, I am shure that there are members on here that have been there too, and we will always be there for you. Best regards Allan :(

  4. Ken its a jap import, in japan thet fit us spec lamps to be different, I had them on mine. All US specs are LHD, also i think its a forum car Allan

  11. OOOPs wrong advise sorry :x: Lucky i got a manual then
  12. The hold button holds the revs upto the limier befor changing to the next gear!
  13. Show picture 4 us as i havent driven an auto zed for a while! is it not the sports switch for the auto box???
  14. Well done bud congrats, best wishes to mum and son!! :D
  15. You will just wear out the centre of the tyre faster thats all, oh and bounce a bit on the handling
  16. Due to the above I now have a set of headlamps ready split and cleaned for chroming. They are packed and ready to send to you as soon as your cheque is clear on my bank account, PM if you are interested! If you want I will undertale the rebuild if you ar nervious of breakage for a small fee, so you would end up with a set of chrome lamps ready to drop streight in to your Zed with no off road time.
  17. Think i saw this car @ PPS was having mine done? I was admireing the Kahn 19" split Rims very nice!
  18. James you need to check on the VAT get him to give you the all in price with return delivery otherwise you may end up in a pickel!! in the meantime here is the picture of your lights ready split and clean!! A quick note to all people who are doing this job When you re assemble you MUST clean the lenses and MAKE sure there are no finger prints on the inside face!! so wear cotton gloves
  19. James check that the return postage incluges vat as it cost me 14.00 for the return carrage in Febuary and we all know prices dont go down! you have PM
  20. I started the VMC trail in febuary this year because Cos had stoped doing the lamps due to no profit to work . I had the new lamp fitted when PPS fitted the strosek convertion The difference is about 30% to 40% but then again I had new lamps and bulbs. It it worth the effort. Allan
  21. The only difference in jap and uk lamps are the E markings on the glass lenses, so no difference on the plastic buckets
  22. Rugby and the Cherry n Whites Gloooosterrr :D
  23. just to explain the above Cos was charging 250..00 I think
  24. Be very carefull taking the glass lens off they do crack!!! EASY I had one crack on me on my brand new lights!! Lucky I had some spare glass!! Also remember the reason for the higher cost is due to sombodys labour but most of all 3 sets of carrage @ 14 quid + VAT The normal price for metalization is:: 14.00 carrage to vmc 100.00 metalization 14.00 carrage back 14.00 carrage to you All + VAT =166.85 + any labour or second hand lamps so lets say 40.00 labour and 80.00 for a second hand set of lamps from AndyP plus his carrage on those to you! 10.00 because he is on bulk Compleat project price= 296.85 So dont think that anybody has been overchaging in the past because you are getting to do the job cheeper! mine cost seriously more as I bought new lamps as well Then you will want to put new lamps in them too as they are out!! By the way I am not  just thought you need to know why the job is so costly Plus if you break a glass its More money
