  3. Dave why have you edited the line out about the gloucester meet?
  4. In which direction is this pub ?...Halfords is over an hour from me(70miles), which is ok, but you've put that the pub is a further hour from halfords. The pub is not an hour drive from Halfords the hour timescale alows for problems etc, as so does the other times, as we all know none of us on a sunday are always on time.
  5. Greg read the 2006 meets thread!! If someone wants to travel 70 miles to find a suitable venue Ill BUT OUT!!
  6. Hi Mac This is Karls box but i will change the bellhousing ovetr to fil the TT I was told by the Gures on here that the N/A and TT box are the same except for the bellhousing and speed sensor!! It now turns out that the pinnion gear on the sensor is a different size :headvswal so I need to know which combonation to use. I think it is tt sensor with n/a pinnion gear Cheeers for asking Allan
  7. Yep is that tooo expencive?? if so I will have a rethink

Right have been in talks with pub that will have a cavery and alacart food option, and also Halfords in Gloucester. It looks as if the meet will run like this:- Sunday January 22nd 2006 NEW DATE CHANGE Meet @ Halfords Eastern Avenue Gloucester 12.30 (for coffee n tea etc, there you will be handed a map ) http://www.halfords.co.uk Search GL4 4LP Leave Halfords @ 14.00 to travel via the map to the designated mystery pub for carvery lunch @15.00 £7.95 per person( we will arive here at this time so not to hit the lunch rush hour) I will need to know numbers to give the pub a rough figure befor arival Dose this sound the sort of thing you lot would like??? Allan

  12. The reason to remove te vac pipe is, due to pressure leak the clutch can become depressed slightly and cause slip Allan
  13. Happy Birthday bud!!! Hope you had a nice holiday:)
  14. Dose any body have a N/A gearbox on a TT??? What speed sensor pinnion gear did you use??
  15. I have today picked up a N/A gearbox to replace my TT box, now the bellhousing has to be swoped over to accomadate the larger tt flywheel. Also the N/A speed sensor has to be swoped over as the signal pulse of a N/A sensor is different to allow for the different ratios of the diff. Today I took the N/A sensor out of the N/A box only to find that the diameter of the pinnion gear is not the same as the TT version, so working on logic I will have to use a TT sensor but with a N/A pinnion gear. But if the diameter of the pinnion gear is different so must the drive gear in the box, is this going to give a faulse reading on the speddo head Food for thought Allan
  16. Sorry dont wana run the zed in this weather
  17. Jonce the reason you have a problem is that behind the dip beam lense there is a shade that blanks the one side of the output on the uk its on the top right and ont the euro(lhd) it is on the top left, the reason it is on the top is that the lense causes opposite refrection. You will need to use the left hand lamps, or change the shades over. if you strip the glass off and then look through the dip lense you will see what I an on about. the second option of swopping the shades over is a right nause of a job! Cheers bud I hope this helps Allan
