  1.:lol::lol::lol: I'm getting worried Si! Are these random pics you get hold of ever so quick in your personal collection?! I've got so many favourites when driving. If I had to come up with a tune quick, it would have to be Vodoo people by prodigy :)
  2. My favourite driving tune ummmmmm? Ah here we go
  3. Your both spot on! But those guns!
  4. I most certainly was! There's a youngster who lives near who I see from time to time driving a MR2 replica and he thinks he's the bees knees. I'm waiting to pull up next to him and compliment him on his replica just to see his face drop, because he does think he's driving the real deal lol!
  5. I'd also heard that it was an optional extra for a blow up doll on the rear seats. I assume the wires are to turn the fan on! This one is Lucy she was the deluxe model and comes with an extra hole and bigger breasts!
  6. As Smithy says! Detonation (also called "spark knock") is an erratic form of combustion that can cause head gasket failure as well as other engine damage. Detonation occurs when excessive heat and pressure in the combustion chamber cause the air/fuel mixture to autoignite. This produces multiple flame fronts within the combustion chamber instead of a single flame kernel. When these multiple flames collide, they do so with explosive force that produces a sudden rise in cylinder pressure accompanied by a sharp metallic pinging or knocking noise. The hammer-like shock waves created by detonation subject the head gasket, piston, rings, spark plug and rod bearings to severe overloading. Mild or occasional detonation can occur in almost any engine and usually causes no harm. But prolonged or heavy detonation can be very damaging. So if you hear knocking or pinging when accelerating or lugging your engine, you probably have a detonation problem.
  7. Welcome to the forum buddy!
  8. I think you should forget the real thing and become a wanabe! MR2 all the way baby!!
  9. Incorrect! When you work at a Nissan dealership you get things a little cheaper! Retail was 39.80 for the small section and 56.81 for the larger section. Sir Charles (other forum member) and myself get a further 25% off the retail price and we don't pay delivery :) Zcentre is £90 + VAT (£105.75) + Delivery so it's only slightly cheaper at a dealership because your not paying delivery but when you think about it, it's more convenient to order from Zcentre because you can do it from your sofa, and before anyone asks..........NO I won't order these in for people because 1. I'm not a trader and 2. I order cetain things from Luke at Zcentre myself and I'm not going to take business away from him. I don't mind ordering things that the traders don't stock and if I can get the discount I will (anything to help a forum member) but you'll still have to pay delivery.
  10. My scuttle panel has cracked too, but it's more white than black lol! I've just got a price from the parts dept so i'll order that over the next few days. It's gotta be done if you want the car looking tip top!
  11. Wiper arms will be back on Tuesday, now to order a scuttle panel.
  12. But what about the Nissan Cube! You've all forgotten about the postman pat van! The Juke in the flesh did look nice, and as for the red interior parts you can change them with silver, grey or black. I think it looks nicer in some colours than others. The 1.6 DiG-T 190bhp engine is pretty sweet IMO and in a car of this size. The 4WD version of the 1.6 DiG-T is running the same 4WD setup as what Porsche are using on there 4x4's so it's pretty awesome. KW - 140/BHP - 190/Nm - 240
  13. Yep and you are a tool :lol:

    Congrats mate
  15. Good thinking Batman! I'm on the case :scooter:
  16. Thanks Si! :) I hadn't thought of powder coating there's a company close to where I work who do it so I'm on the case lol
  17. Correct Si! I got a quote from the parts dept in work yesterday, probably order them this week. I'll also be replacing the rubbers around the car eventually. I'd get it all done now if I didn't need to pay for the timing belt, service and MOT etc but i've got to get those done 1st as I think they take priority over looks of the car. It will be done tho, I didn't plan on spending lots of money on getting the paint work done and renewing the wheels to have those spoilt by the rest of the worn exterior parts. All in good time :)
  18. Thanks's for posting this Sir Charles! Thanks guys glad you like it :) :) Got to get the MOT, timing belt and ancillary belts, water pump etc done then once it's on the road there's a few little bits to finish off to the exterior inc a 99 spec spoiler and some 99 spec rear lights at some stage :) After that I plan to start on the interior, full leather and fit my aftermarket gauges to the pillar pod, then it's time for coilovers and engine fun. Can't wait for the 1st Aug to tax her and start driving her again. Thanks again Matt
  19. You need to put the plate on retention, £120, and wait for the log book (V5) to arrive back before handing the car over. When the V5 comes back to you it will have the new reg number on it and also the new tax disc and MOT ticket also with the new reg number on them. When you receive all this you can then change the plates on the car. Once the private plate is on retention you must put it on to another car within 12months or keep paying £25 a year until you do decide to put it on another car.

  21. Happy birthday matey! I thought we could all sing this lovely song to you for your b'day so here goes: Lets drink to your fading health, and hope you don't remind yourself your chance of finding fame and wealth decrease with every year. Does it feel like your doing laps, and eating food and taking naps, and hoping that some day, perhaps, your life will hold some cheer. Happy Birthday, what have you done that matters? Happy Birthday, your starting to get fatter. Happy Birthday, it's downhill from now on. Try not to remind yourself your best years are all gone. :tt2: Have a good one might see you later Matt
  22. Can't fault you or your son
