  1. Should have added, I put the battery fuse back in once I realised the alarm wouldn't set :whistling: But it foxed me, so thieves would have had no chance! Thanks for the suggestions, will give it a check over tomorrow :thumbup1:
  2. In a moment of (what I thought was) clever thinking, I removed the green relays out of the small fusebox under the bonnet whilst I was on holiday and the Z was sat outside trying not to get stolen... lol :sweatdrop: Anyway I went to start it up earlier and couldn't for the life of me think why it wouldn't fire up, I used the throttle a bit as I was trying to start it before realising what was wrong lol :w00t: So I refitted the missing fuses after I struggled to remember where I'd put them, and the car started after a bit but is now running poor and sounds like a 3 cylinder :blushing: would I have flooded it maybe and is there a solution for this sort of stupidity other than try it again tomorrow and hope for the best?
  3. Very nice, I've always been a fan despite their wacky looks, if I wasn't so hooked on jap cars I would have had one ages ago! Do you wanna buy some spare rear lights? as my new Z has them
  4. blimey!!!!! thought that was a joke... obviously not! When I had my first car someone had an RS replica in the same colour as that just parked on the garden... he offered it to me for £250 but I had to refuse as I had no room!
  5. not sure on the front plate dan, but I never swapped them over on mine, just fitted the coilovers as they are. And yes if the rears are adjusted to the same level then it should sit at the same height both sides! Have you got a leak on one maybe?
  6. plus the fact he is obsessed with fiat coupes lol yeah it makes sense!
  7. only read this page lol but wild guess at volvo T5R?
  8. I bought a polishing kit from halfords for £15, have a look at the last thread I put up it shows a before and after pic of my work equip wheel I polished!
  9. Great news alex :) and to think you nearly broke it for spares lol. Looking forward to seeing it again, and btw that bootlid is still in my garden lol
  10. I want one some day, and I worked for Chrysler for 11 years! that says something lol. Driven all the different variants, obviously the SRT8 is the cream of the crop, but the diesels are very good and powerful if you get one that's been chipped. Saying that the hemi v8 is good too and not as thirsty as you may think as when you are just trundling along the multi displacement system cuts the engine down to 4 cylinders in a fraction of a second. And they look bloody awesome!
  11. Happy birthday Dave, have a great day! :thumbup1:
  12. I've got spare outer ones (the triangular wing to bumper ones) but may need to grab the other ones off you at some point. I'll see how well it rebuilds tomorrow. cant believe how rusty they were! :smash:
  13. carbon canister is easy-peasy to remove and bypass, I could wait to remove it for the reasons listed above. :thumbup1: and I should have checked all my bumper brackets before sending you my spare ones lol
  14. Well noticed detective jim lol... it had the same finish before though (dull) at just over an hour per wheel needless to say I got just the one done but will do the other 3 when I can be arsed!
  15. Today I took the front bumper off as there was a few jobs I wanted to do, first of which was to sack off all the unneccessary junk and extra weight that wasn't required. Fog lights came out as I've got carbon fog light ducts, removed the support bar, removed the intercoolers as I've got ARC ones fitted now, due to the intercooler upgrade I wanted to make sure there was maximum airflow both sides of the intercoolers, so removed the washer bottle - I'll be relocating a small one elsewhere, headlight washer stuff, overflow tank, carbon canister etc. Picture afterwards: much less clutter. plenty of room behind intercooler, fitted my altered arch liners to assist flow. Also painted the centre section of the front bumper in graphite grey (thanks for the idea hartyuk ;) ) and fitted my carbon ducts. I also wanted to try my halfrauds polishing kit on my Work Equips as they are in desperate need of a polish up... finish before: afterwards:
  16. LOL thanks bri
  17. not to mention a tuned 300zx can easily show up modern day ferraris and porsches, thats a key point for me lol :thumbup1:
  18. You will always be biased, (and you arent the only one who looks in shop windows for the reflections! ;) ) but they were ahead of their time when they came out and still look great nowadays. If you showed a clean example to someone who knew nothing about cars they'd probably guess at a few years old. not twenty
  19. I've literally just removed two mint ones from my breaker if you are interested? can get them sent today. Drop me a PM if you want them.
  20. happy birthday you old chrome git  :thumbup1:
  21. use these for inspiration then lol.
  22. found an edited pic on photobucket which I must have highlighted another skull-type face before!
  23. trust me you'll see it. Its the big black markings on the left, I mean how is that possibly explainable?!!
  24. Just going through some old photobucket pics and found this one I took. It was taken in these ruins of an old hall that are apparently haunted (if you believe all that) :shifty: anyway if I remember correctly, I was stood outside the bottom left window on that picture, and to take the following picture I held the camera through the windowframe at full reach and took the picture, no-one was in the room. So the room wasn't smoky, it wasn't a cold night, there was no-one breathing near so dont know whats with the smoky picture, but the freaky things are on the picture itself. I know the next day after I took it I saw numerous 'abnormalities' on the picture, but main ones I can remember looking at it now is the big scary face on the left and the side-on view of the woman on a bed at the bottom right! or maybe not a bed, but almost being cradled in the hand belonging to the face on the left?! :sweatdrop: and just above that seems to be another face! can you see any more? or even see the ones I mentioned? lol So, you can tell me I'm crazy, but I know what I can see
