  1. The turbo elbows are also different between cars with pre-cats and without pre-cats which means the downpipes/front pipes are different. Its fine if you are changine the lot but if your only doing from elbos back then you need to make sure and get the correct front pipes.
  2. Ah no problem. Did look on ebay and rhe usual 300zx sites but couldnt find anything. Might be a fine excuse to go dual maf once i save money a bit
  3. Hi all. Fairly sure the 20 year old induction hose from the air filter to the turbo is getting on a bit now and possibly sucking in a little at higher revs. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket silicone hose or hardpipe kit available for this? Thanks
  4. hi. You need a 2.7 ohm resistor for the system to still continue working correctly. I have an r33 boss fitted to my zed. The boss must be from a car with an airbag as the spigots are a smaller to fit through the slip ring bit on airbag models. Non-airbag bosses will not fit through here.
  5. As title states. Only have a single exit hks superdrager exaust but really want a twin exit if anyone has one. Any make concidered as long as its good condition Thanks
  6. Oh actualy how about postage or will you post them at that? Sending money for springs and shocks now anyway
  7. Cool. Yeah no worries mate. Just sending money now pal. cheers
  8. Not sure what they would be worth to be honest. Would £130 be a reasonable? Sorry if this is not what your looking for as like i say not quite sure what they would be worth. Thanks
  9. Cheers. would possibly be interested depending on price. Thanks
  10. Hi all. Have a leaking front shock ao after replacements. Does anyone know where to get kyb or similar shocks for the z32 in the uk? Only ones i find are in the US. Thanks
  11. Hi all As titled really. Looking to get my zed a little lower so after some coilovers or a complete lowering kit for my z32. Not after lowering springs only as i doubt the standard old shocks would last long. Thanks
  12. Thanks for the info Noz. SOrry to ask a stupid question but how do i know if its an 8 or 16 bit ecu? I have had the ECU out and there is no daughterboard fitted. Only one single circuit board. I was going to PM you about more information but dont seem to be able to. What sort of prices would i be looking for say a chip on a standard ecu? Also i am interested in the SMICs depending on volume over the standard ones and price. Thanks
  13. I have the same issue with a 300zx i picked up recently. Now i knew this was already an issue when buying the car. Anyway is there anywhere you can buy one without part exchange on the older one? Just i dont want to leave the car in bits until the new unit arrives. thanks
  14. Hi all thought id just say hello. This is actually my second fairlady as i had one a few years buck but unlike my old one this is a 1995 import, twin turbo manual. Seems to be well looked after and in good condition but fairly standard just now. It currently has a cat-back HKS system, Apexi induction kit and apparently different turbos. However im not sure which turbos as of yet. I will be fitting the down pipes that i have shortly and then will be looking into getting the ECU sorted out for running more boost. I have had the ECU out and see it is totaly standard with no socket. Can someone point me in the right direction as to where i can obtain the required chip and socket? Im also looking into upgrading the intercoolers. Any advice for these? Will get pics up soon. Thanks
